Influencer Sydney Towle has passed away at the age of 26 following her battle with cancer.
The news was shared on the TikTok star’s social media pages on Thursday, Aug. 6, with a photo of Towle. According to the post she passed away on Wednesday, one day before the post was put up on her page.
“An endless ray of sunshine. A daughter, sister, and friend to so many,” the post said, with the caption further adding, “We will always love you so much, Sydney. I am so proud of how hard you fought. I love you.”
Towle was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare bile duct cancer, at the age of 23, documenting her brave battle on TikTok, in which she underwent multiple surgeries and chemotherapy as well as trying several clinical trials.

Sydney Towle Entered Hospice Care One Day Before Her Passing
On Tuesday, Aug. 4, Towle’s brother, Austin Towle, shared a photo on TikTok of her family and friends gathered around her hospital bed, revealing the news that she entered hospice care.
“Sydney has been moved to hospice and is surrounded by her friends and family. Thank you all for your love and support❤️,” the text on the image said. “Thank you all so much. Your love and support does not go unnoticed.”
