James and Oliver Phelps — the hosts of the Food Network’s “Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking” — have been showing off their knowledge of the Weasley family from the “Harry Potter” series of books and movies.
The Phelps twins, 39, played Weasley twins Fred and George in all eight of the “Harry Potter” films between 2001 and 2011. It’s a gig that’s landed them presenting duties on the cooking show themed around the franchise.
They were recently asked a series of questions about the family their characters were a part of.
The ‘Wizards of Baking’ Hosts Know Their Weasley Lore
All ten questions were true or false questions, whereby the Phelps twins were given a statement about the Weasley family, before deciding individually whether or not the statement was true or false.
A 76-second video of them answering the questions was uploaded to the Food Network’s official Instagram account.
The statements they were asked to decide were either true or false were as follows:
- There are seven Wealsey siblings (which is true).
- Charlie Weasley was Head Boy when he was at Hogwarts (which is false).
- Arthur Weasley worked at the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office (which is true).
- The Weasley family home was called the Warren (which is false).
- Five out of the seven Weasley siblings played for the Gryffindor Quidditch team (which is true).
- Bill Weasley worked as a cursebreaker for Gringotts (which is true).
- The Weasley family owl was called Colin (which is false).
- Molly Weasley was the only member of the family who was sorted into Hufflepuff (which is false).
- After leaving Hogwarts, Ginny played Quidditch professionally for the Holyhead Harpies (which is true).
- Ron Weasley was the youngest Weasley sibling (which is false).
Although the video’s caption reads, “We solemnly swear that we got every answer right 😌,” the fact is that isn’t true. Although both James and Oliver performed very well, there were a couple of incorrect answers given.
Have a watch of the video to find out which ones each twin got wrong.
The Phelps Twins Bring ‘So Much Joy’ to ‘Harry Potter’ Fans
GettyThere was a lot of love for James and Oliver Phelps in the comments under their Weasley questions video.
One fan wrote, “My favorite twins. ❤️”
Another commenter said, “The best characters🧡💜.”
Someone else commented, “They bring so much joy to me. ❤️”
Finally, one user who clearly enjoyed the clip wrote, “keep these videos coming! 👏❤️”
Rather noticeably, nobody commented on the Phelps twins’ Weasley knowledge. In social media terms, that must mean people were impressed — because you can be certain the comments would be flooded with opinions had they performed badly.
You can watch the next episode of “Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking” this Sunday, November 16, at 8/7c on the Food Network.
