Murray Introduces ‘Coast to Coast by CMM’ Candle Line
“Today we bring Coast to Coast by CMM,” Murray wrote in the caption of his May 4 Instagram post. “This is passion project of mine that mixes memories, lifestyle & adventure. For me, scents act like a Time Machine. They transport you to moments and destinations in your life. I’ve always been a candle guy, but now, I’m able to share the scents and memories I’ve made with you all.”
He continued, “California Summer is our 1st of many scents that will transport you to incredible moments in your life or be a part of rad new ones. Each scent has a subtle nod to a character I’ve played or adventure I’ve been on. The lid on California Summer should be a slight hint at what this one represents,” Murray explained, adding a winking emoji at the end.
The lids that the actor is referring to are revealed in the second photo of the carousel, depicting an axe on a chopping block with the brand “Coast to Coast” inscribed underneath. This could potentially be a nod to his character Cal Jones on “Sullivan’s Crossing,” who once had a wood chopping competition with Liam on the show.
“I hope you all enjoy these as much as we do. We will always be listening to hear your opinions, wants and desires as we grow Coast to Coast by CMM. Much love,” Murray concluded, signing the caption, from “me.”
One fan in the comment section reminisced about his starring role as Lucas Scott on “One Tree Hill.” The fan wrote, “A Wilmington inspired scent from your OTH days would be 💯”
Another fan added, “Ready for a #BillsMafia candle! ❤️🩵” calling out the fact that Murray is a devoted member the Buffalo Bills’ fan base.
Murray Recalls the First Time His Children Watched ‘Freaky Friday’
GettyAnother one of Murray’s iconic roles is Jake in 2003’s “Freaky Friday.”
“We watched the first one right before I started filming, so I could say, ‘Hey guys, this is what Daddy’s going to do. This is a story that I’m going to go tell,'” Murray told Parade in an interview from April 20, referring to the movie’s 2025 sequel “Freakier Friday.”
He continued, “And I just remembered them laughing so hard at the movie and saying, ‘Daddy, what are you doing? Why are you doing that? Why are you doing this?'”
The actor admitted that reuniting with Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Mark Harmon for a sequel to “Freaky Friday” was an unexpected by welcome surprise. Though the cast is “in different places” in their lives, Murray explained that “the story made so much sense to be made now.”
“You’ve had entire lives in between, yet here we are, and everything just still feels the same, and the chemistry is still the way it was, and it’s pretty incredible,” Murray told the outlet.
