A Hallmark star gushed over her mom after being by her side for a big honor. Holly Robinson Peete shared the highlights on Instagram and fans found it adorable.

The “Hats Off to Love” star shared photos and a moving caption after being in Palm Springs, California, to watch her mother get a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Fame.

She gushed, “I just got lucky being both the daughter… and a client for 30 years!!”

Holly Robinson Peete Praised Her Mother’s Hard Work & Achievements

On March 16, Robinson Peete shared a mix of photos and videos showing her mom’s star. The star notes that Dolores Robinson was the first Black female talent manager in film and television.

In her caption, Robinson Peete noted that LeVar Burton was her mother’s first client. He attended the Palm Springs Walk of Fame ceremony for a “full-circle moment” with Robinson.

Burton and Robinson Peete weren’t the only ones there, of course. The Hallmark star noted, “Her community showed up in love — just one month shy of her 90th birthday.”

“She believed in herself when the world gave her every reason not to,” Robinson Peete gushed.

Robinson Peete explained that her mother’s success was earned through very hard work.

She wrote, “From growing up poor with no running water… to reinventing her life after soul crushing divorce with no money — to shattering glass ceilings and building a legendary career managing stars… being the first isn’t easy but she would not be denied.”

Dolores Robinson Broke Barriers Throughout Her Career

Robinson shared a photo on her own Instagram page that showed her glowing at her Palm Springs Walk of Fame event.

One fan commented, “So happy to see this DR! You are the best and contributed so much to the entertainment industry!!!!”

Another comment read, “What a great celebration! You deserved every heartfelt tribute and more! So happy to witness your special day! #Legend”

According to KESQ, Robinson’s star is the 485th added to the Walk of Fame and is located at 849 N. Palm Canyon Drive.

The outlet noted that over her lengthy career, Robinson worked with stars such as Pierce Brosnan, Mariska Hargitay, Martin Sheen, and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

In addition, Robinson was an executive producer on two different shows. Her IMDb page shows she received co-executive producer credits for an episode of “Matt Waters,” which aired in 1996, as well as 13 episodes of “Between Brothers,” which debuted in 1997.

Robinson was also listed as a consulting producer on the reality television series “Meet the Peetes,” which debuted in 2018. The show featured Robinson Peete, her husband, Rodney Peete, and their kids.

The outlet shared that Robinson was “One of Hollywood’s top deal makers” who “broke barriers.”
