Jane Seymour is celebrating her birthday today, Sunday, February 15. The award-winning star is turning 75 years old.
“Seymour was born Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg in Hayes, Middlesex, England,” according to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “She took on the stage name ‘Jane Seymour,’ also the name of King Henry VIII’s third wife, at the age of 17.”
Of course, fans surely remember Seymour as Dr. Michaela Quinn from the star’s days on “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman,” which ran for six seasons, from January 1993 to May 1998.
That’s not to mention her various characters in popular Hallmark projects like 2008’s “Dear Prudence,” 2011’s “Perfectly Prudence,” 2014’s “A Royal Christmas” and 2025’s “Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas.”
On top of that, the accomplished actress just happens to be a former Bond Girl.

The wedding took place on July 10, 1971. The pair were married until 1973.

Jane Seymour Says ‘Be the Best You Can Be at the Age You’re At’
GettyIf you’re wondering how Seymour has remained so vibrant throughout the years, she told Parade in February 2025, “Anti-aging, for me, [is that] you’re not going back. You’re going to be the best you can be at the age you’re at. You can age super fast if you give up. I can’t tell you how many people 45 and over just go, ‘Oh well, I suppose I’m done now.’”
“Maybe you’ve spent your whole life being something for someone else, for your parents, your job, your husband, your wife or your kids, and now this is your time. And I think that’s what I’m celebrating,” she said. “This is part of a mission that I hope people [will] say, ‘Well, why are you still working and why are you having fun in life? And how come you’re not looking like my granny?’”
“And I go, ‘Because I see this as a really freeing time. I don’t care. This is my time for me,’” she continued. “I’m having more fun in my career. I’m having more fun in my life. I’m doing all kinds of things I would never have dared do before because I’m just going, ‘Why not?’”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jane Seymour
