Hallmark Beauty Shares Powerful Message to Celebrate International Women’s Day

Hallmark fan favorite Nikki DeLoach marked International Women’s Day with an empowering message focused on mothers and sons. The actress didn’t hold back championing women, while admitting the best way to help is through the next generation.

Nikki DeLoach Is a Boy Mom with a Message

The star of the “A Grand Ole Opry Christmas” is a mom of two boys. DeLoach shares sons William and Christopher with her husband Ryan Goodell, and she’s raising them to see women.

Instead of sharing a picture of empowering women to celebrate International Women’s Day, DeLoach used a touching picture of her with her boys to send a brutally honest message. The actress explained that the “most powerful gift” women can give other women is sons who are allies to them in every way.

“When we teach our boys that strength includes softness, that emotions aren’t weakness, and that part of their purpose is to uplift the women around them… we aren’t making them less. We’re making them more. Balanced masculinity isn’t the absence of strength. It’s strength with a heart,” she wrote.

The Hallmark beauty went on to declare that the world only changes when the next generation is taught certain values.

“The world changes not just when girls learn to stand tall, but when boys are raised to see exactly who is standing beside them. Our daughters deserve that world. And honestly? Our sons do too. #InternationalWomensDay #BoyMom #BalancedMasculinity #RaisingKindHumans #GenerationalChange,” DeLoach ended her message.

Fans flooded DeLoach’s comments section to praise her words and her advocacy for women. One fan declared, “I will say it again & again…THIS WORLD NEEDS MORE NIKKI DELOACH’S 💕💕💕.

Another fan found DeLoach very inspiring and called the actress a “beautiful soul.” Yes to this!! So powerful and so what we need in our world!” added a different fan. Many fans left red heart emojis to respond to DeLoach.

More Than a Hallmark Star

While many know DeLoach from her many Hallmark films, the actress also works hard as an advocate on various issues.

DeLoach has been open about her son Bennett having multiple surgeries for congenital heart defects, just days after he was born. It was her worst nightmare, but it also led DeLoach to become an advocate for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Last year, she partnered with Raine Jewelry to create a bracelet inspired by her journey, with all proceeds going to the hospital.

Another cause DeLoach advocates for is Alzheimer’s disease and those who care for loved ones with the disease. DeLoach is a spokesperson for the Alzheimer’s Association and has organized many fundraisers to raise awareness of the challenges caregivers face daily and to give others the help she didn’t have when taking care of her father.

DeLoach has also become an advocate for survivors of abuse, having revealed last year she was a victim of physical and sexual abuse as a child.

Acting has become an outlet for DeLoach as she pours more of herself into her advocacy work. In 2026, DeLoach will star in two sequels to her 2024 Hallmark movie True Justice: Family Ties.
