There’s definitely a playful side to Tamera Mowry-Housley‘s relationship with her husband, Adam Housley. In fact, the Hallmark star was apparently in a silly mood recently and decided to prank her partner. Unfortunately for her, things took a hilarious turn.
Adam Turned the Tables on Tamera
Tamera took to Instagram to share a video with her followers that showed what happened when she attempted to set her hubby up for a fun little prank.
“I just wanna say, I’m so proud of you,” the actress can be seen telling her spouse in the video while the two stand together outside. As she gestures to the property around them, she adds, “And I’m so proud of what we’ve done.”
Of course, this leaves Adam smiling. What also makes him grin is the fact that his wife then wants to give him a high five. Then a low five, followed by a side five to the right and then to the left. Finally, she puts her hand on Adam’s forehead … and that’s when things go wrong.
Adam responds by putting his hand on Tamera’s forehead, which is not what was supposed to happen.
This causes Tamera to burst out laughing before looking at the camera and saying, “I told you, he’s way to smart!”
She also asks him if he had seen a reel of the prank before she tried it, and he says no.
In the caption, Tamera wrote, “How did he catch on to the high five prank that fast?! Why is he always one step ahead?! 😂 Who’s tried this on their partner?”
In the comments, Adam confirmed, “I hadn’t seen it!!”

One person left a comment on her post, writing, “His eyes knew something was coming 1000% 😂😂”
“He knew it was sketchy once he started giving you the side eye!! Btw, you were smiling way too hard. 😂,” another fan added.
A third person popped in a comment, saying, “😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️ yalll soooo adorable!!! He way too smart!* maybe if you did it faster lol but love it!! Yall keep glowing and have fun!”
“He was looking at you like, ‘what are you up to?😏’ 😂😂😂,” another follower noted.
Someone else left a message for the star, writing, “@adamhousley & @tameramowryhousley chemistry is at a all time high🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️👏”
Here’s How the Prank Was Supposed to Work
For those who don’t know — and who might want to give it a try themselves — this is how the prank is supposed to go:
- Do everything that Tamera did in the video when it comes to the high five, low five, side fives and forehead five.
- On the final move, the forehead five, whoever is the subject of the prank is supposed to slap your hand just like they’ve been doing. Or, at least, try to slap your hand.
- Before they can do that, you pull your hand away so that they end up slapping themselves in the forehead. Hopefully, not too hard!
