Hallmark hunk Tyler Hynes gave fans a look at his softer side in a new Instagram post. The Groomsman Last Dance star reunited with his “son,” Rusty James, and it was clear that Hynes and his dog Rusty were thrilled to be reunited.
Tyler Hynes Returned Home to His Dog Rusty After 2 Months Away
In an Instagram post that Hynes shared on September 23, Rusty was shown wearing a handsome small cowboy hat with a paisley kerchief tied around his neck.
“2 movies. 2 months. Too long… Sheriff’s back in town,” Hynes’ caption read.
After the initial still photo, Hynes shared a video. It showed him coming through the front door to reunite with his dog, who was eagerly waiting to see him.
Hynes set his backpack down next to the open door and immediately got down on the floor to get close to Rusty. Hynes had a big smile on his face and Rusty was a quickly moving puff of fur as he smothered Hynes with doggie kisses and attention.
The third upload in Hynes’ Instagram post showed Rusty again wearing his cowboy hat and kerchief, tucked into the actor’s robe so he would stay with his dad as the duo walked around the house.
Rusty got his fair share of smooches, too, and a lot of snuggles. Later in the video, Hynes showed Rusty safely snuggled against his chest, his robe securing the dog into place.
After spending some quality time together once again, Rusty showed off all of his best tricks and then peacefully rested on the floor, worn out, his eyes slowly closing.
Hallmark Fans Couldn’t Get Enough of Hynes & Rusty’s Reunion
Fans were gushing over Hynes and Rusty, loving every second of their reunion.
“This is so beautiful. Seeing his unbridled and unlimited love for you is just so precious. Thank you for all you have done and given to us for the past 2 months; please enjoy a very well-deserved break at home with your fur son and your family,” commented one fan.
Another fan wrote, “Omggggggg I love him so much!!!”
Someone else added, “Stop it!!! Cuteness overload!!! Look at those kisses!!”
An additional Hallmark fan shared, “Love how much he misses you and you him. Glad you’re back home and very happy there [are] more movies.”
Jaymes Vaughan, who is married to Hallmark star Jonathan Bennett, commented on the Instagram post with a string of heart-eye emojis.
