On March 6, Erin took to Instagram with a question for “Home Town” fans — why was the episode of the week their most watched in years?
“We’re hearing @napierframes [Ben’s younger brother Jesse] new house was the most watched episode in 3 years, and I am so curious why,” she wrote in the caption. “Tell us what drew you in!”
On March 1, she teased the “Home Town” episode with Ben’s brother.
“TONIGHT on @hgtv: 5 years ago @napierframeslaurel and @ltnapier lives looked very different when we finished their little green cottage in town,” Erin wrote in an Instagram post. “They bought a business, had 2 babies, then one night at Ben’s parents Lauren said the smell of a hamburger made her feel sick as she ate a pan of cornbread and I KNEW they were about to outgrow that house 😄.”
She continued, “Watch with us tonight to see how we found out, what they actually planned to do, and how we got involved. It was a whole thang. This one is for the lovers of life in the country, the bread makers who want chickens but have been trapped in city limits.”
“It’s going to be mid century in some ways, eclectic and unexpected and full of youthful color for a young family we love very much,” the HGTV star added.
