Fans Flood Christina Haack With Support as She Opens Up About Her ‘Mistakes’

Longtime HGTV star Christina Haack is feeling the love — finally. Gracing the latest cover of People magazine — released on October 1, 2025 — the designer and mom of three is opening up about learning from her “mistakes,” especially in love.

Since rising to fame on “Flip or Flop” with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, Haack, 42, has often been mocked on social media for her headline-grabbing love life. She and El Moussa finalized their highly publicized divorce in January 2018, and she’s since been married and divorced twice more — to fellow TV personality Ant Anstead and former police officer Josh Hall.

“I’m grateful for my mistakes,” Haack says on People magazine’s cover, which the outlet shared via social media. Her statements about learning and growing through all the unexpected twists have prompted many fans to shower her with praise and thanks on the posts.


Christina Haack Vulnerably Shares ‘I’m Still Learning’

Haack’s third divorce, from Hall, was finalized in August, 13 months after the couple broke up while filming the first season of HGTV’s “The Flip Off.” The renovation competition, which was meant to pit Hall and Haack against El Moussa and his second wife, Heather Rae El Moussa.

After highlighting the breakup in the first episode, the unlikely trio of Haack and the El Moussas carried on without Hall. The show was such a hit in early 2025 that they’ve just begun filming a second season.

Haack has been dating business exec Christopher Larocca since late 2024, frequently posting social media pics from their travels and dinners out.

“I don’t look at it as starting over, and especially for the fourth time,” Haack told People. “That just makes me want to cringe. It does feel like a fresh start in that for once I’m actually in control of my destiny, and that feels really good.”

Haack has a full plate, between the show, her design work, and her just-launched champagne, plus navigating a blossoming relationship while parenting her three kids — 14-year-old Taylor and 10-year-old Brayden, whom she shares with El Moussa, and six-year-old Hudson, whom she shares with Antstead.

“I’m not going to say I have it all together,” she admitted to People. “I’m still learning. I’m still a work in progress. And I’m grateful for my mistakes.”
