Christina Haack Weighs In on Her Boyfriend Appearing on ‘The Flip Off’
During an October 2025 interview with Us Weekly, Haack shared some details about the new season of “The Flip Off.”
When asked if her boyfriend, Christopher Larocca, will be on the show, she noted, “He might make an appearance, as long as it’s not dramatic.”
She continued, “Luckily, I’m an executive producer, and if we see him, it won’t be anything that would actually affect our relationship because that would be a huge mistake on my part.”
Haack also noted how communication in her relationship is so important. “Things come out, things pop off, things that aren’t true,” she noted. “It’s just making sure that we talk about it and not ignore it, and that there’s no fear in honesty. And I’m very, very vulnerable with him … I just want to be honest.”
Haack also addressed what fans can expect with the show that pits her against her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae, while they compete to flip a house.
“I really, truly, don’t know what’s happening yet, because we are still in production … figuring out what’s what,” Haack shared. “And I like the fact that I get surprised on the other side, and I don’t really know what’s happening. I just want to keep it real.”
Haack explained that it’s “important” for her to do most of the competition on her own, but teased that Jeff Lewis “may make an appearance, we shall see.”
She also noted how close she’s become with Heather Rae. “I would say that filming with [Heather] last season, that’s when our friendship really started,” Haack shared. “I appreciate hard-working women. I surround myself with them, and I saw that in her, and she is so much fun to film with, and … she’s honest, she’s authentic. And so I think that’s really what kind of bonded us.”
Haack Shares Boyfriend Appreciation Post
On September 9, Haack took to Instagram to share a sweet message about Larocca. In the photo, Larocca kisses her on the cheek as she makes a kissy face with her arm around his neck.
“Thank God that KIND, hardworking, patient, sweet, loving, caring, adventurous, confident men still exist,” Haack wrote in the caption. “And he’s hot & fun. Lucky me ☺️ ❤️.”
On April 8, Haack talked about her “good man” in an Instagram post.
“As someone who recently discovered I have anxious-attachment (not sure what took me so long 🤪) and for sure a history of co-dependency issues … things can be challenging and by ‘things’ I mean ‘me,'” she wrote.
Haack continued, “Meeting an unexpected good man who has his own amazing career, life & hobbies (who also happens to have zero jealousy) can at times feel strange for someone who has had the opposite.”
The HGTV star shared, “At 41 I’m finally learning about safe communication, independence during commitment and a relationship that is NOT 0-100. I am for sure guilty of putting pressure on others. Facing my own insecurities has forced me into doing the shadow work I’ve been avoiding … it’s time to break the cycle.”
