Christina Haack Reveals Room Renovation She Won’t Touch

HGTV superstar Christina Haack has seen her share of problems on renovation projects. However, that typically doesn’t stop her from tackling a challenge head-on.

As fans wait for “The Flip Off” season 2, they recently caught Christina as a guest star on another renovation show. After filming concluded, the mother of three confessed there was one room in the project she felt relieved she never had to touch.

HGTV fans have adored watching Christina Haack flip properties for years. From her time on “Flip or Flop” to her solo projects, there has been no shortage of exciting renovations. She even teamed up with her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, to produce a competition-style show, “The Flip Off.”

But when it comes to the iconic Bachelor Mansion, the 42-year-old is drawing a clear boundary line.

HGTV’s new show, “Bachelor Nation Takeover,” follows former Bachelor Nation members as they update the mansion for future use. Christina Haack appeared as a guest judge in a recent episode to consult on the renovations.

However, the “Christina in the Country” star felt relieved they never asked her to help with the fantasy suite. In fact, she admitted to E! News that the idea left her feeling “so disturbed.”

“I don’t know. I don’t want to talk about it,” the HGTV star told the publication, noting that she wasn’t at all interested in filming an episode like that.

Christina also admitted she wasn’t overtly familiar with Bachelor Nation to start out with. She shared that her prior knowledge of the show was “not deep.”

“I have enough drama in my own life, so I don’t really watch a lot of reality TV,” the mother of three added.

The HGTV Star Talks Being a Judge

Fortunately, Christina Haack used her expertise to help renovate the iconic rose ceremony room instead. Starring on her own shows provided her with new insight as she stepped into a judging role.

“I’m used to being judged, so being the judge was a nice change,” Christina told the publication. “But also I’ve been on competition shows, and I understand the pressures involved and the budgets and the timeline, so I feel for the contestants. And so I was just trying to be really fair and not too critical.”

When “The Flip Off” season 2 debuts later this year, she’s excited to be a competitor again. In fact, Christina and her co-star, Heather El Moussa, said they might like to be on the same team this year.

“I think that it would be super fun,” Heather told PEOPLE in June 2025. “I think that people would love to see Christina and I working together and beating my husband because he thinks that he could beat us, especially in a design contest.”

New episodes of “Bachelor Mansion Takeover” air at 8 p.m. each Monday night on HGTV.
