Tarek El Moussa just turned 44 on August 21, and he’s getting help from both current wife Heather Rae El Moussa and ex-wife Christina Haack in celebrating.
The HGTV stars have continued to grow their bond as a blended family over recent months, and Tarek’s birthday was no exception.
In an Instagram post, Heather Rae El Moussa put up a series of pictures and videos of the birthday celebration with Christina and her boyfriend Chris LaRocca, writing, “Happy birthday to the “King of Flipping”🏡👑 🫣
We had the best time celebrating Tarek with a little staycation at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach!
Cabana, champagne 🥂 lots of laughs!
There have been ups and downs but thankful for the friendships we all have and can’t wait to celebrate more birthdays and wins together! 🎉❤️”
The cabana had a banner that read “Older, Wiser, Hotter.” And Tarek’s chocolate birthday cake read, “HBD King!”
The pictures also show the couples enjoying a toast with Christina Haack’s brand of champagne called Clé Cachée that she launched earlier this year.
In the post, Christina commented, “Too much fun ❤️😍”
Tarek, Heather and Christina Will Soon Film Season 2 of “The Flip Off”
Tarek and Heather El Moussa can expect to spend a lot more time with Christina Haack in the near future.
The trio just put up a joint Instagram post confirming the renewal of season two of their design competition show “The Flip Off” on HGTV.
While no details about season two have been released yet, we know Heather hopes there will be a shakeup in teams this time around.
In an interview with People, Heather says she’d love to team up with Christina Haack while Tarek El Moussa flies solo in the competition. “I think that it would be super fun. I think that people would love to see Christina and I working together and beating my husband because he thinks that he could beat us, especially in a design contest,” Heather enthused.
In fact, she’s even discussed the idea with Tarek.
She told People, “The other night, I was picking on [Tarek] about something and we were going back and forth. He’s like, ‘I could beat you guys,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, really? You think you could beat us in a design-off?’ And he said, ‘Yes.’”
Heather says she responded with dismay, saying, “Are you crazy? Against two designers?!”
Tarek’s Birthday Isn’t the Only One the Trio is Celebrating
While Tarek El Moussa may’ve been the center of attention for his birthday, he’s not the only one celebrating a big day.
Tarek and Christina’s son Brayden has a birthday just one day before his dad’s. He turned 10-years-old on August 20.
And both parents and stepmom Heather all marked the occasion with special Instagram posts.
Tarek El Moussa put up a nostalgic post showing him with his oldest son through the years, writing, “To my oldest son Brayden….words can’t express how much I love you! I never thought I’d have a son similar to me in so many ways. Not only do we look the same but we are also wired the same! It is very clear that we are father and son❤️. I love all of the games we play, the fishing trips, the video games, and all the other fun things we do! This is such a big birthday because you are 10 and are finally in double digits!! I’m so excited for the upcoming adventures as our years go on and you get bigger, older, and stronger. Until that happens, you are still daddy‘s little boy. I love you so much so from me and the rest of the world happy birthday!!!❤️❤️❤️”
In her post, Christina Haack called her oldest son her “biggest supporter.: She wrote, “Happy 10th birthday to our boy. Sweet, feisty, kind, smart, sensitive and spiritual. My biggest supporter- he has his mama’s back. He gives the biggest hugs and when he likes you, you know it. I love our bond, our dates, our laughs & our love for each other. . Proud mama ❤️ ☀️ 🌙 ✨”
Christina’s series of pictures include several of Brayden as a toddler and one when he is about to be Baptized, wearing a t-shirt that reads “Meet the New Me.”
Heather Rae El Moussa’s post shows a series of pictures highlighting her bond with her stepson. In the post she writes, “Happy 10th Birthday to our Bray Bray 💙 Double digits!!! You are sweet, resilient, funny, and so strong-minded. You always know how to make everyone laugh. You’re the best big brother to Tristan! I love watching you with your siblings.
