HGTV Star Holds Onto ‘Hope’ as Fate of Hit Series Remains Unclear

HGTV star Jasmine Roth is hopeful to be back on the home renovation network as she awaits news of her hit series, “Help! I Wrecked My House.”

“We don’t [know if we’ve got a season six]. If you follow the news, you see that there’s a lot going on with HGTV and Warner Bros. Discovery right now,” Roth shared in an interview with Daily Mail published on Friday, December 19. “If I get another opportunity to do that, whether it’s with this show or with another show, I’m here for it.”

Roth added, “I’m excited to see what 2026 brings and what HGTV looks like five, six months from now because I honestly don’t know what it’ll look like, but I hope to be a part of it.”

Jasmine Roth Awaits News of Season 6

Roth’s hit show wrapped its fifth season last month, but as HGTV continues to make drastic cuts to fan-favorite shows, the “Help! I Wrecked My House” star understands the uncertainty.

“I do think that it’s clear to everyone, whether you’re in the entertainment industry or not, that the way that folks consume media and content is changing,” she explained to Daily Mail. “And so it’s a matter of how we, as content creators, are going to keep up with that.”

Roth got her start on HGTV back in 2017 with her first series, “Hidden Potential.”

“Just having a TV show that’s in the public eye changes things immediately,” she said, calling it a “blessing.” “It puts you and your family and your business and everything on display, which has been amazing.”

Roth continued, “It’s been one of the best opportunities. I love it. I think that it’s really cool to share what I do and be able to just be a creator and then have other people use my ideas. From that standpoint, I’m just so honored to be a part of a creative community. I think it is so cool helping people. If we’re not helping other people, what are we doing?”

HGTV Announced Shocking Cancellations

Earlier this year, HGTV viewers were thrown for a loop when the network abruptly canceled a handful of favorites, including “Christina on the Coast,” “The Flipping El Moussas,” “Battle on the Beach,” and “Bargain Block.”

“I’m beyond blessed to have a team of people that care as much as I do. This is what it’s all about right here. Building our happy by helping others,” Roth shared via Instagram in August. “The amazing thing is that as tired as we all are, we’ve all been on this journey together side by side with a common goal and a shared passion to really help and to make a difference.”

  2. Jasmine Roth and “Help I wrecked my house” HAS to come back – we live for it – So talented, kind, and compassionate – she is what everyone would want in a “best friend ” – And I feel like she is through this uplifting show and helping the “helpless” should be part of what life is really about. This show really lifts our spirits and we all could use that in this crazy time we’re living through.
