‘Fixer to Fabulous’ Welcomes Joe Looney Back
On January 27, the HGTV Instagram account shared a clip from the episode airing that evening.
“Look who’s back! Catch Joe on an all new #FixerToFab tonight at 8|7c,” the caption noted.
In the video, Jenny and her husband Dave look over plans when Looney enters, clapping his hands to get their attention. The text “construction team retiree” appears under his name, for those viewers unfamiliar with Looney.
Jenny is clearly surprised by his entrance, as she lets out a scream and runs to hug him.
“Joe is a longtime member of our construction crew who retired a few years ago,” Jenny explains.
“And I just miss seeing him every day,” she adds. “So it’s such a treat to have him here.”
Jenny tells him his arrival is a good time to take a lunch break.
Fans have missed seeing Looney, who retired during season 5 of the show.
They flooded the comments section with excitement over his return, with messages including, “Welcome Home Joe” and “Mr. JOE!!! So good to see him.❤️”

Jenny Marrs Teased Joe’s Return
On July 16, 2025, Jenny teased the season 7 episode on Instagram.
“We’re working on a Habitat for Humanity house this season! This is a dream project for us and we are so, so excited to share this one with you all!” she wrote in the caption.
Jenny continued, “We love the way the mission of @habitatnwa aligns so well with our heart’s desire for ‘Fixer to Fabulous’: ‘Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Arkansas brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.’🤍”
