HGTV Announces New & Returning Shows, Including a Whopping 400 Episodes of Hit Series

HGTV has been busy rebuilding its lineup and diversifying its programming after letting go of at least seven series in recent months. On October 22, 2025, the network announced multiple new shows and premiere dates for returning favorites.

The network also said it has ordered a whopping 400 new episodes of “House Hunters” and its popular spinoff, “House Hunters International” for 2026 because the series continue to draw a crowd after an incredible 25 years on the air.

Among the new shows that HGTV has ready to go is “Hoarding for the Holidays,” set to premiere on November 11 at 9 p.m. Eastern time. With four one-hour episodes, the show will highlight people who are crazy for Christmas, from over-the-top decorations to out-of-control holiday collections.

In the premiere episode, a Michigan couple will search for a waterfront home at a “reasonable price” in Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

There are also a couple of one-time specials coming up. Once again, HGTV will air a “White House Christmas 2025,” and this year the Property Brothers will be the ones touring the space, and helping to set up all of the amaing holiday decor. • I agree; they need to keep (and make new episodes of) Married to Real Estate, 100 Day Dream Home, and Bargain Block! This household is not happy with HGTV either!

  1. What about the ones we want to watch? Most of these I don’t watch. Except the Mars. All the ones you kept you can get rid of them and bring back the ones you cancelled!

  2. BAH!! You show an obscene amount of favoritism towards the Property Brothers! There are others whose talents are respected SO. MUCH. grMORE!!! Bargain Block. Married to Real Estate…

  3. Not impressed! Yes to Fixer to Fabulous and Lottery Dream Home, the rest no. You have taken away so many of the interesting ones.

  4. Not impressive at all…It feels like HGTV has gone from progressive, creative, and all-inclusive to repetitive, unimaginative, and scared…
PLEASE bring back BARGAIN BLOCK, MARRIED TO REAL ESTATE (Emmy-nominated, no less), and FARMHOUSE FIXER.

  5. One more thing….If you really feel the need for another Property Brothers show, how about going back to their roots? Stop adding yet more shows where they are basically touring people around or answering the same banal questions/offering the same basic tips to flippers, new home owners, and business owners.
Oh, and one more, “one more thing”…why ANOTHER bargain beach house show? Why another beach house show, period? How much sand do viewers really need in their lives?

    • Good suggestions…I was so fixated on the recent cancellations, I forgot about No Demo Reno and Unsellable Houses. They’re both shows that offered renovation and styling information and methods that people could actually implement in their own homes, instead of houses that cost several hundred thousand dollars and then several hundred dollar renovation budgets. Bring back the real people.

  6. Whoever is running HGTV obviously does NOT CARE what the viewers want AT ALL!!!!!! The new shows are not interesting and have people in them that do NOT mesh with the fans of ALL the shows you cancelled!!!! Shame on you!!!!

  7. HGTV is cutting their budget and putting on shows ( for the most part) that cost them way less money to air. They are losing the younger audience to YouTube and other apps.

  8. House Hunters is so boring! You cancelled all the good shows: Farmhouse Fixer; Bargain Block; Married to Real Estate. There is no sense in even turing on your channel when all you show is House Hunters. Who cares anymore.

  9. What about MIKE HOLMES? I have been a faithful viewer since YOU brought Mike and his crew on, which goes back a few years. NO DISRESPECT INTENDED!
He, and his Family are GREAT on TV, and we have learned so much from his shows.
    Just saying is all.

  10. Not impressed with the new line up. They cancelled the shows that people watch and not just the re runs, Bargain Block, Farmhouse fixer, Married to Real Estate need to be brought back. I like David but he is on too much and same with Beachfront Bargain and house hunters, too much. have been watching HGTV for years and do not like where HGTV is headed. HGTV is not listening to their true and tried viewers and will end up losing everybody.

  11. I love House Hunters International. So cool to see places I can only dream of! And yes definitely bring back Married to Real Estate. That was a fabulous show. Why would you cancel this? Makes zero sense.

  12. Bring back Bargain Block, that is real decoration from scrap. Give David Broomstad a new decoration program where he is soooo good. I love his work since he started.

  13. From other reading I’ve done, it seems the problem may lie with a new set of producers who are not in tune with the viewing audience. Maybe HGTV needs to go back to some of the prior, experienced producers who clearly tapped into the wants and needs of the core audience. Brainless, monotonous TV is not what we, the audience, want or need.

  14. I have loved HGTV for many, many years! But if I see one more Property Brothers Or Allison Victoria show……especially since you cancelled some truly wonderful, creative and great designers shows (Izzy, Egypt & Mike, ETC). Great shows get a very consistent following. I think HGTV is trying to lose viewers. If it weren’t for Dave & Jenny, Down Home Fab, Home Town and maybe a few of the current reruns I’m ready to tune out!

  15. I’m starting to think HGTV doesn’t know its audience. Cut some really great shows and left some lame stream crap. I don’t see the network lasting too long with the choices they are making

  16. Well I won’t be watching HGTV much! Except for the MARRS. Where are ERIN and BEN NAPIER? they are in my top five which includes GOOD BONES, although I think there might be some personal problems there. Also BARGAIN BLOCK, they are so inventive and are doing so much good in Detroit. I do occasionally watch House Hunters International: it’s interesting and sometimes annoying and laughable to see Americans wanting some local ‘charm’ and then complaining because not as big as their place back home!🙄. So, for the most part it’s bye, bye HGTV, which should be HTV as the garden part, which I enjoyed, has been lost.

  17. Not impressed with the new lineup! HGTV is playing games. What happened to Married to Real Estate? As much as I love David, give someone else a chance to shine!

  18. I will greatly miss Married to Real Estate and Bargain Block. These new shows you mentioned don’t seem that interesting to me. I have loved your network for years but there is very little on it that interests me anymore.

  19. There isn’t much to watch on HGTV anymore. House Hunters is boring and so staged. Only show I really like anymore is…really nothing. Goodbye!

  20. I have watched HGTV for a number of years and always liked the diverse group of hosts in the past because they mirrored Americana. Well I guess this is the networks idea of Americana or what they strive for it to be. I have lost COMPLETE interest in this channel.

  21. The reason you think House Hunters and International so popular is because there are so many reruns playing back to back instead of putting other shows on. Enough of House Hunters and Property Brothers. The new shows don’t even sound like HGTV type shows.

  22. I agree with the majority of the comments. Property Brothers had a good run but it’s time to have something new. And touring the White House🤪 please.
It’s the same old stuff with a few specials. People want Gardening, Decorating tips, Decorating on a budget, Viewers have been asking for these things for years, We’re sick of flipping houses!!!!!!!!!!
