‘Floribama Shore’ Cast Remember Late Kirk Medas on 1st ‘Heavenly’ Birthday

The cast of MTV’s “Floribama Shore” are still mourning the death of castmate Kirk Medas, who died last year due to liver failure. He would have turned 34 years old today, on Jan. 19.

To honor Medas on his birthday, who is described to be the “glue” of their group, the show’s cast shared social media posts of photos, videos and messages of their favorite memories together.

‘Floribama Shore’ Cast Honor Kirk Medas

Aimee Hall took to Instagram to pay tribute to her late friend, sharing a 12-photo carousel to the song “Godspeed” by Frank Ocean. She captioned the post with a heartfelt message, describing Medas as the reason the “Floribama Shore” cast still remain close.

“Happy birthday in heaven. We sure do miss you. It still doesn’t feel real. It’s so hard not being able to pick up the phone and call you,” Hall wrote. “You are still the glue that holds us together, and you always will be. You are the only reason we are all on speaking terms. Now we try so hard to get along and not fight because that’s what we know you wanted. I know you’re having the best birthday because you’re in heaven with Jesus, feeling no pain and finally at peace. We love you forever, Kirk. @kirkmedas.”

Nilsa Prowant shared 13 Instagram photos of her best memories with Medas, who walked her mom down the aisle at her wedding to Gus Gazda. Her caption read, “Happy Heavenly Birthday Kirk we miss you so much every single day. Don’t you worry we are all celebrating you here in our own ways, but I’m sure what we are all doing is nothing compared to having the best seat in the house for the Miami game.”

Kirk Medas Missed by His Beloved Friends

Codi Butts shared a photo of him and Medas at a tailgate. He expressed in his caption that he missed him dearly. “Happy heavenly birthday @kirkmedas it’s hard to believe you’re gone. I love you and miss you every single day. I will be pulling for Miami today for you,” he wrote.

Candace Rice posted photos of Medas on her Instagram Story, writing, “Miss you every day. Until we can kick it again.”

Medas’ dad confirmed his death to TMZ in May 2025 after the reality star was in the intensive care unit for two weeks with liver failure. Before he died, he showed off the hard work he put into his workouts after shifting to a healthier lifestyle. In March of that same year, Medas captioned an Instagram video of him working out, “My only regret is not making such changes earlier on in life.”

He is remembered for his laughter and the way he lit up a room with joy.
