A star of MTV’s reality television series “Teen Mom” has shared the news of her own teenage son’s 16th birthday — and she’s gifted him a fancy new car to mark the occasion.
Kailyn Lowry, 33, starred in “Teen Mom 2,” which aired for 11 seasons and 211 episodes from 2011 until 2022.
Lowry — whose full name is Kailyn Rae Lowry — hails from from Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania. She gave birth to her first child, Isaac Rivera, on January 18, 2010.
Isaac turned 16 a couple of weeks ago, and his mother recently shared the moment she presented him with a new set of wheels for his gift.
Kailyn Lowry Shared the Moment She Revealed the Car to Her Son on Social Media
Kailyn Lowry shared a 53-second video of her presenting her oldest son with his new car on both TikTok and Instagram on February 1. She captioned the post, “how is he old enough to be driving? 🥺”
In the clip, she leads Isaac outside with her dog and her other children — whilst holding five-year-old Creed in her arms — and has him cover his eyes.
They approach the car and Lowry tells Isaac, “Open your eyes.” At that point, the shocked 16-year-old covers his mouth with his hands and exclaims, “Oh my God!”
Isaac proceeds to get in the car to take a closer look and seems genuinely appreciative of his mother’s kind gesture.
Lowry then responsibly explains to her son about all the extras she’s included, such as products to remove ice from the car’s windshield in the winter, and a cover to use in the summer to keep the car’s interior cool.
Sensibly, Lowry commented on her video saying, “Hi! Just wanted to pop in here & say we are not showing the entire car for Elliott’s safety and privacy ❤.”

Another of Lowry’s followers commented, “happy birthday and congrats on the new car ❤️.”
Someone else said, “Wow. I watched him literally coming into the world to today. And it brings such happy tears 😹.”
Isaac himself also commented, writing, “I cannot believe I’m 16. That’s insane” — it was a comment that drew many replies directly wishing him the happiest of birthdays.
