2025 is shaping up to be a significant year for superstar rapper Cardi B. Not only has she released her long-awaited sophomore album, “Am I The Drama,” but she also announced that she’s expecting her fourth child. Recently, she debuted her baby bump while wearing a stunning lace outfit.
According to Page Six, Cardi B was spotted attending an album release event. It took place at the Highlight Room in New York City on September 18. She wore a black catsuit featuring black lace and white beads, proudly showing off her baby bump.
Cardi also wore a pearl belt and a pair of black buits. She was all smiles both as she headed to the “Am I the Drama” event and as she performed new songs from the album.
She Announced Her Pregnancy in September
There was considerable speculation that Cardi B was expecting another child as she began promoting her album. The beloved rapper announced the news on September 17 during an appearance on CBS Mornings with Gale King. After being asked by King, she stated, “Well, yes, I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs.”
She was then asked how she feels about expecting baby number four. Cardi responded, “I’m actually very excited. I’m happy.” She continued, “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful.”
She went on to say that she and her boyfriend are very supportive of one another and that they are in the same space within their respective careers. The rapper was first linked to Diggs in October 2024. Rumors intensified on Valentine’s Day 2025 when they were seen together. She then confirmed their relationship in September.
There Was a Long Wait Between Her Albums
Cardi B released her debut album, “Invasion of Privacy,” in April 2018. To date, the album has sold over 7 million copies. Additionally, it produced two number one singles, “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It.” She also won a Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2019.
Following the album, she released hit singles such as “W.A.P” and “Up.” Fast forward to 2025, she released “Outside” as the lead single from “Am I The Drama.” She then followed it up with “Imaginary Playerz” and an accompanying music video.
So far, her new album has strong reviews from both critics and fans. For example, Rolling Stone gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
