October 3rd can’t come soon enough, and Taylor Swift just made the release of her upcoming album, “Life of a Showgirl” even more exciting.
Swift has announced an official release party for her 12th studio album, which will be held in theaters from October 3 to October 5.
According to Variety, the movie will run for 89 minutes, with tickets priced at 12, before any added online booking fees. While 13 is normally her lucky number, 12 makes sense in this case since this is her 12th album. And with that, 89 is fitting as she was born in 1989.

Swift announced the news on Instagram, sharing a note with her fans.
“I hereby invite you to a *dazzling* soirée, The Official Release Party of a Showgirl: Oct 3 – Oct 5 only in cinemas! You’ll get to see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for my new single “The Fate of Ophelia”, along with never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos from my new album The Life of a Showgirl ❤️🔥, Swift wrote on Instagram. “Looks like it’s time to brush off that Eras Tour outfit or orange cardigan… Tickets are on sale now. Dancing is optional but very much encouraged 💃.”

Swift announced the album on New Heights, making her podcast debut alongside her fiancee Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce. And with that, she has continued to drop numerous different things for fans to purchase as the release date gets closer.
One of them was a series of CDs. The orange CD is titled “The Life of a Showgirl: Sweat and Vanilla Perfume” Edition. The red CD is “The Life of a Showgirl: It’s Frightening,” while the Purple one is “The Life of a Showgirl: It’s Rapturous.” And lastly, the silver CD is “The Life of a Showgirl: It’s Beautiful.”
Each CD comes with a jewel case with a collectible front and back cover, one disc with collectible artwork, a collectible 8-page booklet that includes never-before-seen photos and song lyrics, three double sided photo cards on high gloss card stock with a unique envelope, a jewelry bow with a metallic foil embossed TS logo on top, a keychain/bag charm with “Taylor Swift” engraved, which all comes in a high gloss bow featuring the front and back cover album artwork.
