Cardi B is adding another bundle of joy to her growing family. The “I Like It” rapper, 32, revealed in a CBS Mornings interview with Gayle King on September 17 that she’s expecting her fourth child — her first with NFL star Stefon Diggs. Their baby is due just ahead of her tour launch in February.

Cardi and Diggs, 31, an NFL wide receiver for the New England Patriots, have been linked since October 2024. They made their first public appearance as a couple in May 2025 at a Celtics vs. Knicks game in New York.
The rapper said she loves how supportive they are of each other: “Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re never comfortable, we always want to push each other to do more.” She added that Diggs makes her feel “safe,” both physically and emotionally.
Balancing Career, Motherhood & Love
Cardi admitted that keeping the pregnancy under wraps gave her peace. “Can I just say it on my own time? Like, I’m not hiding. I just wanted to close some deals first, see a couple more sonograms, and make sure my baby was healthy.”
She also confessed she hadn’t told her parents before the interview aired: “They just be looking at me. I’m very scared of my parents,” she joked.
Still, the Grammy winner is embracing the challenge: “I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby. I feel like I can take over the world.”
Blending Families & Looking Ahead
The new arrival will be Diggs’ second child. He is already dad to daughter Nova, 8. Cardi shares daughter Kulture, 7, son Wave, 4, and daughter Blossom, born in 2024, with her estranged husband Offset.
Cardi couldn’t resist one final plug during her pregnancy reveal: “By the way, now that I talked about it, y’all better get my album… I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff. I told y’all, now go support my album ’cause I’m a mother of four now!”
