Justin Bieber gave fans a laugh as he shared viral videos of his most embarrassing moments during his headlining Coachella set Saturday, April 11, in Indio, California. The 32-year-old marked his long-awaited return to the stage with one of the most unconventional performances in the festival’s history, pulling up a chair, opening his laptop, and playing old YouTube clips of himself for a crowd of thousands.
Bieber Opens His MacBook on the Coachella Stage
The bit kicked off right after he performed “Where Are U Now” by Jack U, Skrillex, and Diplo. Settling into his chair, Bieber told the crowd, “You just had to be here for this one, this is a good little clip,” before hitting play on the clip of his now-infamous glass door incident.
The footage, originally captured on May 20, 2010, shows a teenage Bieber smacking his forehead straight into a glass revolving door while trying to exit the Radisson Blu hotel in Frankfurt, Germany.
He watched it alongside the audience, grinning as he said, “This is a classic.” Then, unable to help himself, he rewound it. “Maybe let’s run that back one more time.” As it played again, he narrated: “This is me walking into a glass door. Oh yep, there it is again.” He rewound it a third time for good measure, adding, “One more time. Yep, did not see that glass there.”
From Falling Through Stages to Feuding With Paparazzi, Bieber Laughed It All Off
From there, Bieber typed “justin bieber falls through stage” into the search bar and told the crowd, “And this, this is a good one.” The clip showed the moment on June 16, 2016, during his Purpose World Tour at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, when Bieber walked along a runway mid-set and fell several feet through an open trapdoor left exposed for a stage effect. He let the video play on a loop, giving himself and the audience several watches of the stomach-dropping moment. Still seated at the desk, he threw his hands up in the air and said, “Unbelievable,” laughing at his own expense.
The third clip took a slightly different turn. Before pulling it up, Bieber shook his head and said, “These paparazzi, man, I don’t know if it’s really clocking to them.” He typed “it’s not clocking to you” into the search bar and let the video roll. The footage, which went viral in June 2025, captured Bieber issuing a firm warning to photographers outside Soho House in Malibu amid mounting public scrutiny over his personal life, including the pressures of fatherhood and constant media attention. After watching it back, he mimicked the moment himself, pointing to his head and repeating the line directly to the crowd: “It’s not clocking to you.”
GettyHe then wrapped the segment on a high note, searching “I’m the One,” his collaboration with DJ Khaled. As the track started playing through the speakers, Bieber leaned back and sang along, giving the crowd a spontaneous, unscripted sing-along to close out one of the most talked-about moments of Coachella 2026.
