Lady Gaga Stops Concert After Dancer’s ‘Painful’ Onstage Accident

Lady Gaga was forced to stop her Sydney concert mid-show after a dancer suffered a “painful” onstage mishap.

The singer, 39, was performing the second night of her Mayhem Ball tour on a rainy Saturday night at the open-air venue, Accor Stadium. All seemed well at first, not until one of Gaga’s dancers, Michael Dameski, fell off the stage.

In a video shared on X, Gaga and her dancers gave it all out as they performed a 31-song setlist, including “Bloody Mary,” “Abracadabra,” “Judas,” “Poker Face,” and “Aura.”

The accident struck mid-way through “Garden of Eden,” a track from the singer’s 2025 album “Mayhem.”

Lady Gaga Halts Show to Help Her Dancer

With the stage soaked from the rain, Gaga’s concert stage became a hazard, especially for the dancers. When Dameski and the others charged to the front for a choreo, he slipped and fell off the stage.

Gaga was quick to pause the performance to help the fallen dancer, as seen in the video.

“Stop, stop,” Gaga stopped the show. “We just had an accident on the stage.”

At one point, the singer even went down the stage to personally check and assist her dancer. After a brief pause, the show resumed with tracks including “Rain On Me,” “How Bad Do You Want Me,” and “Always Remember Us This Way.”

Fans React to Lady Gaga’s Move

Fans applauded Gaga for her quick response and concern for her dancers.

One fan wrote, “She’s so special the way she ran straight over, climbed down and made sure he was okay.”

An X user said, “This is why I love her, she’s there for her staff, crew, and her fans.”

A fan pointed out, “Oh man! That’s why she hates stadiums,” while another agreed, “See why she doesn’t like stadiums! And this! When it rains, etc.”

Another commented, “So grateful that Gaga paused the show to check on him. True professionalism and compassion.”

Someone noted, “She ran like a mother when she sees her child get hurt!” while another chimed in, “This woman is an angel.”

Meanwhile, Dameski shared an update following the accident. In an Instagram Story post, Gaga’s dancer confirmed that he’s doing okay.

“Hey, everyone! I’m okay. Thank you for checking. Happy I was able to finish the last show of the year,” Dameski captioned a video of himself dancing.

Gaga kicked off her Mayhem Ball tour in Las Vegas in July.
