Paris Jackson fans voiced their concern after noticing the singer’s neck looked “weird” during a recent appearance.
Jackson took to social media to share a health update after growing worried.

Jackson shared a story, opening up about being a “weird” kid. However, it was her neck that drew attention in the comments.
“What’s wrong with Paris’s neck?” one follower questioned on her Saturday, May 16, post.
As similar questions began to pile up, Jackson responded.
“I think its the shadows from my hair ? idfk. maybe im a lizard person,” she wrote.
However, Michael Jackson’s daughter later took to her Instagram Story to share that she underwent a medical test.
“So a bunch of people pointed out how my neck looks like [expletive] weird in the last video that I posted. So, I’m like freaking out. I’m like, ‘Oh! That is weird.’ Crazy,” she said. “I had someone come to my rehearsal studio and do an ultrasound on my throat. Which, recently, I’ve done bloodwork. My thyroid is normal. My lymph nodes are normal. Everything is [expletive] normal.”
She continued, “I think my neck just does weird [expletive] when I talk because I went back and I looked at a video that I shot like two months ago, and I’m like zooming in on me talking — it’s the one where I’m like doing the, ‘My song is out, check it out,’ that one — and it does it there too. I think this is just my neck, and y’all are like freaking me out thinking there’s something wrong. I’m trying to rehearse, I have a show at Bottle Rock in a week. I’m like, ‘Is my voice going to be OK?’ I think my throat is weird.”
After getting her ultrasound results back, Jackson revealed that she has “the slightest amount of redness in my vocal cords.”
“There’s no calluses from singing,” she said. “Also, the reason my neck looks as weird as it does, is just because, you know, I have exercised those muscles from singing for so long and that just happens with singers. It’s just a little bit more obvious in me because I’m skinny.”

The “Let Down” artist previously opened up about her sobriety journey.
“Getting sober ain’t always the indication that life is perfect,” she shared via Instagram in January, alongside a montage video. “A few years in it all got very very hard. For what felt like an eternity. And I didn’t have the same survival skills I was used to having to cope.”
She added, “I had to learn to live life on life’s terms. Treatment-resistant major depressive disorder is a [expletive]. So is CPSTD. and OCD. If you’ve got this [expletive], or anything of the sort, you’re not alone. Hang in there, and if no one’s told you they love you today, I love you.”
Jackson encouraged others not do do drugs in a November 2025 TikTok, explaining that she suffers from a “perforated septum.”
“I have a really loud whistle when I breathe through my nose,” she said. “That is from what you think it’s from. Don’t do drugs, kids.”
