Musician Pink left her fans in shock when she shared a post on Instagram on New Year’s Eve of herself in the hospital with a bandage on her neck. She revealed she was going to undergo surgery. But what were her husband, motocross racer Carey Hart, and their two children, Willow Sage Hart and Jameson Moon Hart, doing on December 31?
Carey Hart Shares His New Year’s Eve Plans
Hart shared a post on Instagram on December 31, revealing how he and his children were spending New Year’s Eve together. The post shows them snowboarding and enjoying a road trip. In the photos, Pink appears to be absent. In the caption, Hart shared his thoughts.
“So fun getting runs in w/ the kids! Willz is ripping, and got into some steep powder runs,” he wrote. “Jamo is grinding through the early days of snowboard frustration. But made a ton of progress, and has a great attitude about it. Epic time up @mammothmountain.” He also thanked a snowboarding school for helping them out and ended his message with well-wishes to fans for 2026. “I hope everyone has a safe, happy, and healthy NYE & 2026. We are eating frozen taquitos, playing video games, and about to celebrate an east coast new years,” he wrote.
Fans flooded the comment section, many of whom expressed concern for Pink and that she would be having surgery on her own. Others sent well-wishes. “Wishing you lots of motorcycles and travel, baseball, hockey, and candy for Jamo, Broadway, and fulfillment of all her dreams for Willow, and all the love in the world with a very speedy recovery to P!nk,” a comment reads.
“You’re such a cool Dad! Way to get the kids out shreddin’ in the sunshine!” another person shared. “Speedy recovery to your dear wife,” a third fan wrote.
What Happened to Pink?
Pink did not reveal in detail the cause of her injury, but she did share a long message on Instagram about how she was happy to be saying goodbye to 2025 and would be “leaving behind all of my hurt.” She continued, “This year was a doozy for all of us, and it ran the spectrum from absolutely devastating to mildly annoying. In amongst all of that, there was so much beauty. And I got to wake up every day and get out of bed and go about my business. The business of loving my children and helping them to follow their dreams. Showing them that life is an adventure or nothing at all.”
She spoke about messiness, crying, and screaming, as well as loving and laughing, highlighting the good and the bad throughout the year. The singer also revealed that she would be paying attention to her body in the new year. “It may not be a fancy facelift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck,” she wrote. “A new scar, a new reminder, that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for all its worth. Rock ‘n’ roll is a contact sport. And as I sit here by myself on New Year’s Eve in a hospital room while my family is happily snowboarding. I know that 2026 is going to be better because that is the choice that I have made.”
Fans and celebrities flooded the comment section with an outpouring of love and concern. Everyone is wishing her a speedy recovery, and although she did not ring in 2026 the way she wanted to, fans are hoping it will be a beautiful year.
