Where is Bret Michaels’ Now?

Bret Michaels was a frontman for the rock band Poision, along with having a very successful solo career. After “Rock of Love” Michaels proposed to Kristi Lynn Gibson, who he had been seeing on and off for 16 years, as the two had met in the early ’90s.

And with that, he actually proposed to Gibson on the finale of Michaelsโ€™ VH1 reality showย “Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It” in 2010. The two separated in 2012, but share two children: daughters Raine and Jorja, who were born in 2000 and 2005, respectively.

“I love seeing my daughters go through the different stages of life,” Michaels said about his daughters in a 2023 interview with PEOPLE. “I say to them every day, ‘This is the journey … the ups, the downs, the challenges. Just get in there, and put one foot in front of the other.'”

And despite their on-again, off-again relationship status, he always put his daughters first.

“We’re great parents together,” Michaels said “and we sincerely love our kids.”

And with that, they clearly remain in a good place, with Kristi posting a photo on Aug. 8 celebrating her anniversary with Michaels.
