Gorgeous actress and television personality Sofia Vergara has reunited with members of the cast of ABC mockumentary sitcom “Modern Family” for a rare group photo opportunity.
“America’s Got Talent” judge Vergara, 54, played Gloria María Pritchett in the series, which ran for 11 seasons and 250 episodes from September 2009 until april 2020.
Per IMDb, the show’s premise was as follows: “Three different, but related, families face trials and tribulations in their own uniquely comedic ways.”
It’s far from the first time Vergara has met up with her former co-stars. Back in October of 2023, she posted a single image on social media with Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (along with the latter’s husband, Justin Mikita). This time, however, she’s gone one further, reuniting herself with three of her castmates.
Again, she took to social media to share the reunion with her fans and followers.
Sofia Vergara’s Reunion Included On-Screen Husband Ed O’Neill
Sofia Vergara posted photographs of her reunion with her “Modern Family” co-stars on her Instagram account, sharing the occasion with her 35.7 million followers.
The post includes a carousel of four photographs. In the first image, Vergara is joined by her on-screen husband Ed O’Neill (Jay Francis Pritchett), Julie Bowen (Claire Melinda Dunphy), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Mitchell Vincent Pritchett), and another gentleman (a few commenters asked who the man is). The second picture is of O’Neill, Vergara, Ferguson, and Bowen. It’s just Bowen and Vergara in the third photo. In the final snap, which appears to be most people’s favorite, on-screen husband and wife O’Neill and Vergara smile for the camera.
Vergara’s caption on her post reads, “With my American family!!! ❤️❤️ I cant believe its been 6 yrs since the Modern Family finale!!!😫😫 I miss u guys!!!”
Tambo’s “In the Moonlight (Modern Family)” — also known as “I Just Wanna Do You Do You Wanna Do Me?” — which was inspired by a fictional track from “Modern Family,” plays over the top of the post.
Vergara’s fans and followers flocked to the post’s comments section to have their say on the reunion. Suffice it to say that everyone loves it.
