The cause of Ozzy’s death was confirmed in his official death certificate. It revealed he died from an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction.

The certificate also paid tribute to Sharon in a deeply personal way, listing Ozzy’s occupation as “songwriter, performer and Rock legend. Husband of Sharon Rachel Osbourne, Music Artist Manager.”

The rock legend was laid to rest on July 30 during a private service at the family’s Buckinghamshire estate. The 250-acre property served as the setting for an intimate gathering that included Sharon Osbourne and some of Ozzy’s closest friends.

Among them were Marilyn Manson and guitarist Zakk Wylde, who had performed with him for decades. The family later shared a statement saying he died “surrounded by love,” describing the loss as one beyond words.

In the days after his passing, tributes poured in from fans, musicians, and Hollywood stars who credited the Prince of Darkness with shaping the heavy metal genre and inspiring generations of performers.
