Tay and Taylor Lautner are gearing up for the birth of their daughter. Taylor, 34, and Tay, 29, are currently considering baby names. Tay Lautner was on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, where the social media influencer opened up about the amusing name they might go with. The pair had garnered significant interest upon their marriage. Tay, formerly known as Taylor Dome, adopted her husband’s name to become Taylor Lautner herself.
On the podcast, Tay joked that the internet is again pressuring her to go with a similar name for her child. The couple’s pregnancy announcement was met with much enthusiasm, but fans have also been keen to learn the child’s name.
Tay And Taylor Lautner Might Have Another Taylor In The House
When questioned by “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper if the baby may also be Taylor, Tay Lautner didn’t turn down the possibility. She acknowledged that she has been asked this by fans before. According to Tay, she was under “so much pressure naming a human.” However, she also maintained that fans have been very supportive.
“I feel like if I don’t name my baby Taylor, the Internet’s literally gonna cancel me,” she joked. “I’m gonna get canceled. But I’m like, guys, are you really gonna want that name?”
There was a lot of humorous discourse about the “Twilight” star marrying someone also named Taylor. This then developed into the possibility of baby Taylor also becoming a reality. As suggested by Tay, it could very well be a reality, although she and her husband won’t be revealing it until the child is born.
Tay also said that the chances of a son named Taylor were greater than a daughter. The reason they were inclined toward a boy Taylor was that he could then be referred to as “T.J.” Tay went on to state that she and Taylor Lautner have shortlisted three to five names to consider.
Tay And Taylor Lautner Were Glad To Reveal The Pregnancy On Their Own Terms
Tay Lautner admitted she was “stressed” through the early stages of her pregnancy. This came down to the possibility that the news might be leaked by an external source. She and Taylor Lautner were not keen on their intimate details being released online without their knowledge. Tay likened sharing the news to a “weight [that] had been lifted” off her.
The social media influencer has been open about being brought to tears at her wedding. Speaking on Matt and Abby Howard‘s “Unplanned Podcast,” Tay had discussed the invasion of privacy over someone discreetly shooting photos of the event without their consent. Tay and Taylor Lautner plan on raising their family away from the media spotlight.
In the interview, Tay said she understood why people choose to share pictures of their children on the internet. However, she doesn’t envision doing the same for her own family. Tay said she and Taylor will avoid making their children’s moments public. Although she didn’t rule out the possibility of changing her mind later, she called the internet a “scary place to have kids.”
