A grieving Sharon Osbourne is slowly finding her strength again. The beloved TV personality was seen in public for the first time since her husband, Ozzy Osbourne’s, funeral, quietly marking her 73rd birthday in London on Wednesday, October 9.

She was dressed elegantly in a long black coat and jeans as she browsed new arrivals and chatted with staff. Those who saw her said she appeared composed but reflective, taking careful steps forward on what was surely a bittersweet day.
It was a tender milestone for Sharon, who has largely stayed out of the spotlight since Ozzy’s passing in July. While she’s appeared briefly in her children’s social media posts, this birthday outing marked her first solo moment in public, and a quiet reminder of her resilience in the face of profound loss.
Family Tributes for Sharon’s First Birthday Without Ozzy
Earlier in the day, Sharon’s children, Jack and Kelly Osbourne, paid touching tributes to their mom on social media.
Jack shared a video of Sharon trying out her new hobby, falconry, where she was seen catching a white owl. “Happy birthday mum @sharonosbourne,” he captioned the clip. He previously revealed that his mother has taken up falconry to help cope with her grief.
GettyKelly surprised Sharon by decorating her bedroom with dozens of balloons and gifts while she slept. “Shhhhhhh,” Kelly whispered in the video, showing her mom’s bed surrounded by presents and a giant stuffed panda.
During a recent interview on Good Morning America, Jack Osbourne gave a heartfelt update on how his mother has been coping since Ozzy’s passing.
“She’s OK, but she’s not OK,” Jack said. “Oh my god, yeah, I know she feels the love. None of us expected it to be like this, with that outpouring of love.”
Reflecting on his father’s loss, Jack added, “Every child kind of has this thought about one day that their parents won’t be there. It’s just part of being human. But we didn’t think of it like this. It was a different weight to it, you know?”
Remembering Ozzy & Sharon’s Last Days Together
Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22 at age 76, just 17 days after performing his final Black Sabbath concert, Back to the Beginning. The rock legend’s death was ruled a cardiac arrest.
In the BBC documentary Ozzy: No Escape From Now, filmed shortly before his death, the couple spoke about looking forward to their next chapter together.
“I’m looking forward to getting this gig over, hanging my mic up, and spending some time with you,” Ozzy told Sharon in one of the final scenes. “After this gig, we’re free.”
Sharon replied softly, “I just want to live a life. That’s all I want to do.”

You’ll be with him again Sharon!
