Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22 at the age of 76. His death was caused by cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, and Parkinson’s disease. Ozzy performed weeks before his passing during his final concert, “Back to the Beginning,” in Birmingham, attended by more than 40,000 fans.

Reflecting on the show, Sharon told Pollstar, “I never wanted Ozzy to just disappear without some big event. And it’s the best way then to go home to where it all started, to go to his favorite stadium in the world, which is [home to] his beloved Aston Villa team, and it was just perfect.” She added, “It was a huge success, because it was a phenomenal event.”
