Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce took a break from wedding planning to sit courtside in Cleveland.
The superstar and Super Bowl champ were spotted sitting courtside at Game 3 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night.
Kelce, a devoted Cavs fan, was rocking a Canadian tuxedo, while Swift, a Knicks fan—according to TIME magazine in 2014 (and her reactions during the game!)—was wearing a pair of jeans with a black top and zip-up jacket.
“Travis Kelce and his fiancée at the game,” the announcer said as the camera zoomed in on the couple, showing Swift pass her man a stick of gum from her purse.
The Knicks lead the series 2 to zilch.
Is Taylor Swift a New York Knicks Fan?
Swift, whose primary residence is in New York, is a Knicks fan, according to a report from TIME magazine back in 2014 when the team had a 2-7 record.
In an interview ahead of the “Style” singer’s 2015 “The 1989 World Tour,” she revealed she is, in fact, a Knicks fan after having moved to New York earlier in 2014.
“You recently moved to New York. Are you a Knicks fan now?” the reporter asked Swift.
“Yeah, totally,” she replied.
“You realize they’re not very good,” the reporter responded, referring to the team’s 2-7 record at the time. The Knicks finished the 2014-15 season 17-65.
“I love them, though. Why does that matter?” Swift said.
She said she met NBA Hall of Famer Amar’e Stoudemire and his wife at the Met Gala.
“I talk with them and hang with them every time I’m there,” Swift added. “So I’ve always had this sort of love of the Knicks, just because Amar’e is so cool.”
She also shared her affinity for the Knicks’ home court, Madison Square Garden, because performed during a halftime show when she was a pre-teen.
“And ever since then I’ve had this kind of sparkly, magical opinion of Madison Square Garden and the Knicks, since they let me sing when I was a little kid,” she said.
Her fiance, on the other hand, is a devoted Cleveland Cavaliers fan. The Ohio native grew up a Cleveland sports fan all his life—something he’s defended on social media before.
The announcer also mentioned Kelce’s affinity for his home state during the game.
“Travis Kelce, it’s good to have him here. An Ohio native, a Cleveland native. … He’s an Ohio boy,” the commentator said.

The “Opalite” singer and Kansas City Chiefs star got engaged in August 2025 and are currently in the invitation phase of their wedding planning.
According to TMZ, Swift has been personally calling her friends to invite them to the wedding in lieu of traditional invitations. Her team has also been making calls.
This is to keep “the ceremony tightly under wraps and avoiding any potential leaks before the big day,” the outlet said.
Guests have not been told the exact date or location, however, TMZ reported. All that’s known is the Swift-Kelce wedding will be held this summer.
