Who Wins HOH Tonight on ‘Big Brother 28’? 8/13/26

The fifth eviction of “Big Brother 28” is officially in the books, and now the Houseguests are immediately fighting for power again.

After a dramatic week that saw LaTrice “LaLa” Verrett hold the Head of Household title, Kamu Kirk win the Power of Veto without using it, and Haley Thogmartin save herself in the BB Blockbuster, the house has reached another major turning point.

Chuk Anyanwu was ultimately evicted by a 9-1 vote, leaving 12 Houseguests competing for the Week 6 Head of Household title.

So, who wins HOH tonight on “Big Brother 28”?

The Week 6 HOH competition is currently underway, but the live feeds are down and a winner has not yet been confirmed. This story will be updated as soon as the feeds return and the new Head of Household is revealed.

Chuk Evicted After Haley Wins BB Blockbuster

Thursday’s episode began with Barrett Pfeiffer, Chuk and Haley still in danger of eviction.

All three had been nominated by LaLa, who won the Week 5 Wall competition and became the first Houseguest outside of the Toolshed alliance to win HOH this season. Kamu subsequently won the Power of Veto but chose not to use it, leaving all three nominees in place heading into the live eviction.

That meant the BB Blockbuster was the final opportunity for the nominees to save themselves.

Haley ultimately came through when it mattered most.

She won the “Newton’s Apples” BB Blockbuster competition, removing herself from the block and leaving Chuk and Barrett as the final two nominees.

The vote then became a question of whether the House would stick with the plan to evict Haley or instead send Chuk home.

The answer was Chuk.

He was evicted by a 9-1 vote, with Haley being the only Houseguest to vote against Barrett.

Chuk’s exit leaves 12 Houseguests in the game and sets up an especially important HOH competition.

Who Wins HOH Tonight on ‘Big Brother 28’?

The Week 6 HOH competition has begun following Chuk’s eviction, but the results are not yet available.

The live feeds are currently down, meaning viewers have not yet been able to see who emerged victorious. The competition could have major consequences for the game, particularly after the shifting alliances and tensions that defined Week 5.

LaLa’s HOH reign demonstrated just how quickly the power structure can change. Her victory ended a four-week streak of Toolshed members winning HOH and ultimately resulted in Chuk’s eviction.

Now, the remaining Houseguests will have to fight for control of the nominations.

Haley is especially interesting heading into the new week. She was able to save herself from eviction by winning the BB Blockbuster, but her increasingly strained relationships around the house could make her vulnerable if someone opposed to her wins HOH.

Taylor has also emerged as an important player in the shifting power structure, while Dee has already identified Taylor as a potential threat.

A new HOH could therefore put several major players in danger.
