The pressure is on inside the “Big Brother” house tonight as another Houseguest prepares to see their game come to an end.
LaLa (LaTrice) is the current Head of Household after winning the competition earlier this week. She nominated Barrett, Chuk, and Haley for eviction, putting all three Houseguests in a difficult position heading into the 5th week in the house.
Kamu then won the Power of Veto, but the nominations stayed the same after the Veto Ceremony. That means Barrett, Chuk, and Haley remain on the block and will have one final opportunity to fight for their safety.
Yep, now it all comes down to the BB Blockbuster and the live vote on Day 39.
Let’s be real, winning tonight’s competition could completely change the direction of the eviction. And honestly, it seems like there are still plenty of questions about where the house stands heading into the vote.
Week 5’s Big Moment: Did Haley Blow Up Angela’s Game?
There was some major drama between Angela and Haley, according to Entertainment Weekly, who shared an exclusive about this moment before it even aired on Wednesday’s episode. It all happened after Angela admitted that she had lied about her eviction vote from last week. What started as a conversation about Angela’s vote quickly turned into a heated confrontation in the exercise room.
Haley accused Angela of betraying her and throwing Dee under the bus, while Angela denied telling Haley that Dee had been involved in the vote. (F.Y.I. Angela did not tell Haley anything; Haley lied to start drama.) The disagreement escalated quickly, with Angela screaming and cursing at Haley before accusing her of making a “b**** move.”
The confrontation included plenty of yelling and tears, and Angela ultimately made it clear that Haley had now made herself an enemy. Honestly, this was definitely one of those “Big Brother” moments where a simple conversation went from zero to 60 in a matter of minutes.
So, is BB26 Angela making a return? It seems like it. And while fighting back may have felt good “in the moment,” Angela now has to figure out whether she just put an even bigger target on her back as one of the reality TV icons playing this season.
Elsewhere in the BB 28 House
ParamountThere’s definitely a lot happening away from the block this week, and it seems like the Houseguests aren’t all on the same page about who should actually go home.
Kamu appears to be trying to distance himself from Haley and Chuk after realizing that the majority of the house is targeting Haley. Meanwhile, Barrett said he “feels pretty good” sitting on the block next to either of his fellow nominees and needs to remain his “chill” self. Taylor, however, makes it pretty clear where she stands, saying Haley needs to go because she is “sucking the life out of the house.”
But not everyone seems convinced that Haley should be the one leaving.
Devens appears to recognize that keeping Haley could actually be better for his own game, and he talked with Yash about the possibility of keeping her. Barrett and Mallory also discussed potentially flipping the vote to send Chuk home instead.
Devens, Barrett, and Drew later talked about getting rid of Chuk and started working on a plan to make that happen. Honestly, the fact that multiple Houseguests are already discussing a possible flip could make tonight’s vote much more interesting.
Taylor also warned Chuk that if Haley wins the BB Blockbuster, he could be in trouble. She encouraged him to talk to people and campaign for his safety. However, Chuk didn’t seem to fully understand what Taylor was getting at… that he may need to offer to target the reality TV icons (Devens, Dee, and Angela) in order to convince other Houseguests to keep him.
So, could a vote flip actually be on the horizon? Let’s be real, it certainly seems possible. The bigger question is whether the house decides Chuk is a bigger threat than Haley.
Who Won the ‘BB Blockbuster’ Comp?
Before the live vote, Barrett, Chuk, and Haley will compete in the BB Blockbuster for one final chance at safety.
Julie Chen Moonves gave fans a sneak peek at tonight’s BB Blockbuster in a joint post with the official “Big Brother” Instagram account ahead of the episode. And honestly, this one looks like it could get interesting pretty quickly.
She captioned the post:
“Here’s a look at tonight’s BB Block Buster. With some guests from @thewrap 🙂 who do you think is going to win this comp? And who do you hope is the next HOH? #BB28”
So, what do the nominees actually have to do? The competition, “Newton’s Apples,” has the players roll five colored apples down a ramp, trying to land each one in the grass. Once the apples are in place, they have to use stone balls to knock them off the other side.
The first Houseguest to get all five apples into the grass, knock them down, and hit their buzzer wins the BB Blockbuster. And, of course, earns safety from tonight’s live eviction.
Yep, this one looks like it could come down to having the right combination of aim, timing, and a little bit of luck.

The ‘Big Brother’ Houseguests Cast Their Week 5 Votes
ParamountWith the BB Blockbuster out of the way, the nominees know exactly where they stand heading into the live vote. Barrett and Chuk remain on the block and one of them is about to leave the “Big Brother” house.
Yep, tonight 10 houseguests will cast their votes to evict and whoever gets 6 votes will be sent packing. The two nominees are not allowed to vote and LaLa (as current HOH) will only be able to vote in the event of a tie.

Who Was Evicted From ‘Big Brother’ Season 28 Tonight?
ParamountThe votes are in, and it’s time for Julie Chen Moonves to reveal which Houseguest’s game has come to an end.
Chuk was evicted from “Big Brother” Season 28 by a vote of 9-1.
After the vote was announced, Chuk went around giving everyone hugs before saying, “Alright you guys. I love you guys,” and then telling the Houseguests to “have a fun summer.” He then officially left the house and headed to his first interview with Julie as an evicted Houseguest. Back inside the house, Haley immediately burst into tears as Chuk’s photo on the Memory Wall turned black-and-white.
Chuk admitted that he was completely shocked to be sitting across from Julie, saying it only took one person to turn the house against him. He kept coming back to how “unreal” the entire experience felt and explained that LaLa was given new information that ultimately blew up his game.
Julie then asked Chuk how he prepared before entering the “Big Brother” house. He said his plan was to “lay low” and “not be the person talking all the time.” As for who he would have targeted if he had stayed, Chuk said LaLa would have definitely been on his list, along with Taylor, who tried to make him “feel comfortable” when he wasn’t.
The ‘BB Time Capsule’ Update & Voting Details
ParamountThe game isn’t the only thing happening inside the house. The BB Time Capsule remains in play through Week 7, giving fans another way to influence the season.
- Week 1: The BB Time Capsule was not in play.
- Week 2: Angela received the ‘Hard-Boiled Detective’ costume as a punishment.
- Week 3: Devens earned the ‘Diamond Veto’ power.
- Week 4: Dee won the ‘BB Bribe’ power.
- Week 5: Mallory received the ‘Adam and Eve’ costume as a punishment.
