Amy Schumer Deletes All Her Photos and Shows Off a New Look

Amy Schumer is stepping into a new era — and her latest Instagram post says it all.

On Tuesday, Nov. 11, the 44-year-old comedian wiped her entire Instagram feed and replaced it with a single carousel post, showing off her figure in a red Valentino mini dress paired with Chanel heels. “I actually left my house tonight. Who’s proud? I’m feeling good and happy. Deleted my old pics for no reason!” Schumer captioned the post, which she credited to makeup artist Gita Bass and hairstylist Jae.

According to People, earlier that day, the “Trainwreck” star shared a throwback to her first-ever Instagram post on her Stories, writing, “I’m gonna erase them all cause why not?” The clean slate arrives just weeks after Schumer opened up about feeling “strong and like myself” again while documenting her ongoing health and fitness journey.

Fans quickly filled her comments with messages of support. “You look amazing Amy!!!!” one user wrote, while another added, “Ok smokeshow!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥.” Some also couldn’t help but ask about the mass deletion, with one follower commenting, “Girl! Why did you delete your old pics and reels?! 😂❤️❤️ I loved the range.”

A Confident New Chapter

Schumer’s social media reset comes as she continues to celebrate her 40-pound weight loss, which she has credited to the GLP-1 medication Mounjaro. The Daily Mail recently reported that Schumer looked “the skinniest she’s been in decades,” with experts estimating her current weight around 130 pounds. The Emmy-winning comedian said earlier this year that she’s been “loving” her experience on the medication, noting that she hasn’t experienced negative side effects.

Her journey hasn’t always been easy. In 2022, Schumer revealed she underwent liposuction after struggling with endometriosis and hormonal changes. Before that, she described her “horrible experience” using Ozempic, which left her bedridden and too weak to play with her son, Gene. “I lost 30 pounds so quick,” she told “The Howard Stern Show” at the time, “but I couldn’t lift my head off the pillow — so what’s the point?”

Now, Schumer says she feels more comfortable in her skin than ever. Her Instagram posts in recent months have reflected a lighter, more confident energy — often captioned with humor and gratitude.

A Fresh Start and Self-Love

Over the years, Schumer has spoken openly about body image, women’s health, and self-acceptance. In 2024, she shared a message with followers after being diagnosed with Cushing syndrome, saying, “I want so much for women to love themselves and be relentless when fighting for their own health in a system that usually doesn’t believe them.”

Her decision to start over on social media may not have a specific reason, but it aligns with her ongoing focus on self-care and confidence. Between her honest health updates and newfound energy, the comedian is clearly embracing a new chapter — one that’s lighter, healthier, and unapologetically her own.

As Schumer put it best in her latest caption: “I’m feeling good and happy.”
