Adna Rovčanin-Omerbegović, a 26-year-old Bosnian influencer and salon owner, tragically died just two days after her wedding. The creator married her husband, Faris, on September 13 at Hotel Hollywood in Ilidža, Bosnia and Herzegovina, but fell ill shortly after the reception.
She was rushed to a local hospital, slipped into a coma, and died on September 15, according to Bosnian newspaper Dnevni Avaz.
‘Always Loved To Help Others’: A Life Cut Short
The late creator ran her own beauty salon in Sarajevo, where she was also known for her work in cosmetics. Friends described her as hardworking and always cheerful.
“Adna always loved to help others, so she spent her working life at the Old City Health Center, working as a nurse, while makeup was her second love, a hobby that worked for herself,” a friend told Dnevni Avaz.
She is survived by her husband, four sisters, her parents, and her extended family.

Videos shared by Bosnian outlet Crnu-Hronik showed hundreds gathering for Rovčanin-Omerbegović’s wake at the City Cemetery of Bara.
Her wedding photographer paid tribute on Instagram Stories, writing that her smile was the “most beautiful” in Croatian. Friends and followers also flooded social media with condolences.
“Yesterday you were among us, today we send you off. Rest in peace, dear Adna,” one follower wrote. Another added, “It is not fair that the lives of young people should end prematurely like this.”

Cause of Death Under Investigation
Story, a Croatian lifestyle magazine, reported that the suspected cause of death was a concussion, though the official cause remains unconfirmed. Authorities have launched an investigation and are awaiting autopsy results.
Rovčanin-Omerbegović’s funeral was held on September 17 at the Bare Cemetery in Sarajevo, with prayers at the Mosque of Kobilja Glava. What was meant to be the happiest week of her life ended in unimaginable tragedy for her new husband and loved ones.
