‘Yellowjackets’ Season 4’s Premiere Date, Here’s What Fans Need To Remember

How the high school soccer team was rescued, and which characters survive in the future, should be answered in “Yellowjackets” Season 4. The Showtime series is ending with these final episodes, and the premiere date is perfect for the bloody show.

The cast will return with slight changes. Here is everything you need to remember before diving into the new season.

‘Yellowjackets’ Season 4 Premieres on Nov. 20

The Showtime series, available on Paramount+, premieres on Nov. 20. The description teases a person from the soccer team’s past making an appearance.

“As the survivors race to bury their sins before rescue arrives and an old flame roars back into town with plans of her own, turns out not every homecoming is a joyous one, and this one’s going to sting,” the description read, according to Variety.

Season 3 introduced adult versions of the teen characters, like Hilary Swank played Melissa, who had a complicated relationship with young Shauna (Sophie Nélisse).

Swank and Jenna Burgess (teen Melissa), Melanie Lynskey and Nélisse (Shauna), Christina Ricci and Samantha Hanratty (Misty), Tawny Cypress and  Jasmin Savoy Brown (Taissa), Courtney Eaton (teen Lottie), Liv Hewson (teen Van), Sophie Thatcher (teen Natalie), Nia Sondaya (Akilah), Kevin Alves (teen Travis), and Jenna Burgess will appear in the season.

Shauna’s family has been a focus of the show since season 1. Her husband, Warren Kole (Jeff), and daughter Sarah Desjardins (Callie) are also set to appear.

What Happened at the End of ‘Yellowjackets’ Season 3?

Season 3’s finale, “Full Circle,” showed adult Taissa burying Van. She ate her heart and vowed to never forget again.

The mystery of Lottie’s murder was solved when adult Misty found that Callie’s DNA was a match. She killed Lottie when she met her to retrieve the audio tape of the young girls after they murdered the guide for travelers in the woods. Callie told Jeff, and they left Shauna.

Teen Shauna took control of the camp during the winter. Taissa pushes Van to rig the cards so someone who wasn’t their friend pulls the queen card. Another traveler, Hannah (Ashley Sutton), survived and joined the Yellowjackets. They hoped that she would be picked, but Shauna changed the order, and Mari was picked. We learn the “pit girl” was Mari (Alexa Barajas).

Adult Taissa remembers that Shauna thrived on violence in the wilderness and teamed up with Misty to take her down. Adult Shauna also remembers and writes that she had fun in the wilderness, became a warrior, and a queen…the antler queen.

The final scene showed Misty, Natalie, Van, Travis, and Taissa had a secret plan to distract Shauna as Natalie tried to make contact with the outside world. Natalie used the fixed radio Misty damaged from the plane, and she was successful. A man told her that he could hear her cry for help.

The episode is a great setup for Misty and Taissa’s war against Shauna in the current-day timeline. Season 4 will introduce new characters, with June Squibb and Molly Ringwald joining the cast.
