Bill O’Reilly Hopeful as He Reveals Health Battle: ‘Fight the Good Fight’

Bill O’Reilly, 76, revealed on his personal blog that he’s currently dealing with health struggles and is being treated in the hospital.

As he remains hopeful, the former news anchor expressed his intention to return to his “No Spin News” podcast as soon as he can after having to put the show on pause because of his declining health.

“Hey No Spin Nation. Sorry I am dealing with a malady,” O’Reilly shared on Jan. 20. “We have great doctors so we’ll fight the good fight. Doesn’t affect my fingers so will update you on me, news cycle, and anything major. Hopefully, back in the saddle shortly.”

The news buff updated his blog on Friday, Jan. 23, with a positive outlook on his condition despite keeping the actual diagnosis confidential.

“Greetings, No Spin Nation! Your tour guide is okay and recovering from some stomach stuff,” he said. “Amazing good wishes have arrived here in New York City, and it’s hard to describe my gratitude.”

O’Reilly continued with a quick-witted joke about wanting to escape the hospital, writing, “I am planning a jail break out of the medical facility where there are more than a few Concierge Members.”

Although he has been hospitalized for at least three days, the podcaster explained how he’s already writing the blueprint for his next “No Spin News” episode. “Working on the first broadcast back because there’s nothing else to do here except watch hysterical local TV news coverage about snow generated by global warming,” he said.

“Praying for a complete recovery without any complications as you fight the good fight,” said another.

O’Reilly launched his podcast in April 2017 after a long run as host of the “O’Reilly Factor.” He also has a large presence in the book industry, with many of his works having become New York Times bestsellers. Some of his bestsellers include “Killing the SS: The Hunt for the Worst War Criminals in History,” “Killing England: The Brutal Struggle for American Independence” and “Confronting Evil: Assessing the Worst of the Worst.”

  1. God Bless you and watch over you. I am a poor retiree trying to help his children with the aftermath of the Bidenomics. I could not understand how the German people could have done what they did in WW2, but now after seeing what is happening in our country it is easier to understand. A friend once told me that America can’t be beaten from the outside but could from the inside, only true, real Americans are going to survive. We don’t stand alone, one nation under God along with our forefathers!

  2. I’ve disagreed with you in almost everything, Bill. But I hold you in deep esteem. Your voice encompasses a dedication to what you believe, (and I don’t) but it is genuine, truthful and in the spirit of democracy.
Here’s one of my faves- “So we cannot, cannot wage war for any other reason than to protect the homeland.”
I wish the best of healing to you and to America.
