TMZ obtained the dispatch audio, and it captures the desperate moments as flames tore through the barn where “The Wire” actor Bobby J. Brown lost his life.
In the recording, dispatchers describe Brown as trapped inside after trying to jump-start an old Cadillac.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, the barn, said to be roughly 50 by 100 feet, filled with smoke and fire at a frightening pace. By the end of the call, it was clear that the structure was completely engulfed. Brown called out for a family member to bring a fire extinguisher.
