Amid tough days in his dementia battle, Bruce Willis found a sunshine ray of hope in a rare family photo filled with love and laughter. The “Die Hard” legend, 70, appeared radiant as he posed with daughters Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 31, in an image shared September 17. Tallulah placed her hand sweetly on her father’s head as the three smiled warmly for the camera.

Scout posted the sweet snapshot alongside other images in a carousel that included their mom, Demi Moore. The musician captioned her post, “Belated tidings from a summer of wonder.” One of the images showed Moore, 62, playing dominoes with Tallulah. See the sweet photo here.
Bruce and Moore were married from 1987 to 2000 and share daughters Tallulah, Scout, and Rumer Willis, 37. Bruce is also dad to daughters Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, with his wife, Emma Heming Willis, whom he married in 2009.

Earlier this month, Heming Willis spoke to Today.com about caring for her husband, whose condition has impacted his ability to communicate. “For us, now, our communication is different, but our connection is very much intact,” she said.
She explained that the support of Moore and the daughters has been invaluable: “I’ve been able to lean on them, as well, to help me provide the best care for Bruce. It works with our blended family because we have open communication, and we play into each other’s strengths.”

In her new memoir, “The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope, and Yourself on the Caregiving Path,” Heming Willis revealed that Bruce was once a “voracious reader” who loved following the New York Times bestseller list.
Fighting back tears, she said, “All I could think of was that Bruce would be so proud” when her book landed at number two on the list.
She added that even through his illness, the love and unity of their blended family continue to keep Bruce surrounded by joy, laughter, and support.
