It has been more than two months since the investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie began. Law enforcement has been looking for the 84-year-old ever since she was forcibly removed from her home in Tucson, Arizona as her friends and family continue to anxiously wait for answers about what has happened.
Despite the fact that law enforcement has seemingly made no breakthrough in the case yet, the investigation is far from cooling off. Now, a leading lawyer has explained his belief that the case will be solved when people with knowledge of the crime come forward.
Attorney Michael Hupy Explains How Nancy Guthrie Case Will Be Solved
GettySpeaking in an interview with Fox News Digital, Michael Hupy gave his opinion about the way law enforcement will likely crack the case. The attorney and president of Crime Stoppers Milwaukee revealed that his organization is likely to be vital to the investigation, as the group allows witnesses to report information anonymously.
According to Hupy, this could be important to those who want to collect the reward but don’t want to speak directly to law enforcement for whatever reason. “I believe that people will come forward if they’re anonymous and if they get a reward,” he said
He continued, “They get a reward anonymously, and they help society by getting criminals off the street.”
Hupy was also critical of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department during the interview.. “I don’t think they secured the scene long enough to process it,” he explained. “They went in, looked, opened it up, then they had to come back later.”

GettyHupy has previously offered a significant reward to those who can provide information that lead to the arrest of the suspect involved or the location of Nancy Guthrie.
The lawyer put up $100,000 of his own money as part of the efforts to solve the case.
“I was sad that an 84‑year‑old woman was abducted without her meds. Her heart monitor stopped,” Hupy told NewsNation. “I didn’t think the crime scene was handled properly. They didn’t secure the crime scene in a way I thought they should. I don’t think they got all the information they could have from the crime scene.”
He added, “Some people will only come forward if they can do so anonymously, which they can do with Crime Stoppers. Some people will only come forward if there’s a reward, which they can get from Crime Stoppers.”
Hupy is also providing funding for a billboard in Tucson to help raise more awareness of the investigation and to promote the reward in the local area. This is in addition to the $1 million reward that was previously announced by the Guthrie family.

I believe that Annie and her husband are guilty and for Savannah who loved her mother why didn’t she hire a nurse Nancy should not have been living by herself at 84 with health issues. Things are very fishy with Annie,

To all the critics: Have you considered maybe Nancy was extremely independent and refused any help. My mother worked until she was 80 never wanted anyone in her house. She took care of herself until her 87 birthday and was diagnosed with CHF , lived my sister and then came to me with hospice care. You can’t force care on someone that doesn’t want it.
