Fitness influencer Stephanie Buttermore is being remembered by fans and fellow creators after her fiancé, bodybuilder and content creator Jeff Nippard, shared an announcement.

The news of her passing was confirmed in a statement posted to Instagram on March 6 by Nippard’s team.

“It is with profound sorrow that we share the sudden passing of Jeff’s fiancée and partner of ten years, Stephanie,” the statement read. “As many of you know, Stephanie meant the world to Jeff.”

The message also highlighted the qualities that defined her life.

“She will be remembered for her warmth and compassion, her love for her family, and her PhD research on ovarian cancer,” the statement continued.

The post concluded by asking the public to respect Nippard’s request for privacy during this time.


Fans Share Tributes to Stephanie Buttermore

Following the announcement, messages of support and remembrance quickly spread across social media.

Fans expressed sympathy for Nippard while reflecting on the influence Buttermore had through her work and online presence.

Stephanie Buttermore Built a Platform Focused on Women’s Health

She had more than 525,000 followers on Instagram and over one million subscribers on YouTube. Her content focused on women’s health journeys, body positivity, and intuitive eating.

Buttermore also maintained an academic career alongside her work as a creator. According to her YouTube channel, she earned a Ph.D. in pathology and cell biology.

Her research focused on the molecular mechanisms that drive ovarian cancer progression.

In May 2024, Buttermore shared that she planned to step away from social media to focus on her mental health. At the time, she explained that anxiety had become “crippling,” but said her well-being improved after taking a break.

She later said her mental health had become “the best it’s ever been.”


Jeff Nippard and Stephanie Buttermore Shared a Decade Together

Nippard and Buttermore had been together for roughly ten years.

The couple announced their engagement in October 2022. At the time, Nippard shared how their relationship first began.

According to his post, he initially reached out to Buttermore through social media and the two quickly formed a connection.

“We started Skyping for 3-4 hours every day for about a month (no joke) until I went to visit her in Florida from Canada,” Nippard wrote. “Our first date was a shoulder workout and I will never forget it 😂.”

In February, Nippard shared a photo of the two celebrating Valentine’s Day.

“Relationshipmaxxing with tea time to lower cortisol levels ❤️,” he wrote in the caption.
