“Yellowstone” actress Hassie Harrison is heading from the rodeo arena to the beach.
The actress has officially joined the cast of Fox’s upcoming reboot of “Baywatch,” which is scheduled to premiere during the network’s 2026–2027 television season.
The revival has already received a 12-episode first-season order.
Harrison is the latest addition to a cast that continues to grow as the highly anticipated reboot takes shape.
The series will also feature Stephen Amell, Jessica Belkin, David Chokachi and Thaddeus LaGrone.
What We Know About the New Show
In the new series, Harrison will portray Nat, an elite lifeguard known for her discipline and drive.
According to the character description via Variety, Nat is “a former foster kid turned Olympic athlete” who sets the standard when it comes to the demanding job of protecting the beach.
She is described as brilliant and fiercely loyal, serving as a close ally and trusted partner to Hobie Buchannon.
The reboot centers on Hobie, the son of original Baywatch hero Mitch Buchannon.
Now a Baywatch captain himself, Hobie is following in his father’s footsteps while leading a new generation of lifeguards.
His world is shaken when the daughter he never knew he had arrives, hoping to continue the family legacy by joining the team.
The new series will also feature a familiar face from the original show. Chokachi will reprise his role as Cody Madison, who now runs a beachside bar-and-grill called The Shoreline while still occasionally stepping in to help save lives.
Beyond “Yellowstone,” Harrison has built a steady résumé across film and television.
Her recent work includes the thriller “Dangerous Animals,” as well as upcoming projects like “The Rescue,” “Deep Eddy” and “Raven.” She also appeared in HBO’s “It’s Florida, Man” and the Netflix comedy series “Tires.”
