Family and friends of Tatiana and her famous family arrived at The Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola on New York City’s Upper East Side on Monday, January 5, as seen in photos obtained by People.

The guest list included extended family members like cousin Kerry Kennedy and Joe Kennedy III, Tatiana’s parents, Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg, as well as her siblings, Jack Schlossberg and Rose Schlossberg.

Tatiana’s husband, George Moran, as well as her children, Edwin and Josephine, were also photographed entering the church.

Former “Late Show” host David Letterman was also in attendance, as was wedding dress designer Carolina Herrera.

The Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola holds a special meaning to the Kennedy family as the funeral of Tatiana’s grandmother, Jackie Kennedy, was also held there in 1994.

Tatiana Schlossberg Passed Away After Cancer Battle

Schlossberg was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a terminal cancer, in May 2024. Doctors reportedly discovered her disease while she was in the hospital giving birth to her second child.

She opened up about her diagnosis in a deeply personal essay published in The New Yorker in November 2025.

“I did not — could not — believe that they were talking about me,” she wrote of receiving her devastating diagnosis. “I had swum a mile in the pool the day before, nine months pregnant. I wasn’t sick. I didn’t feel sick. I was actually one of the healthiest people I knew.”

She added in her emotional essay, “[My family has] held my hand unflinchingly while I have suffered, trying not to show their pain and sadness in order to protect me from it. This has been a great gift, even though I feel their pain every day.”

Tatiana tragically passed away on December 30, 2025. Her death was announced by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation that same day.

“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts,” the announcement read.

On the morning of her funeral, the Foundation shared a sweet photo of Tatiana with her husband and children, taken three months before her death.

“As we remember Tatiana and celebrate her life, our hearts are with her family and all who loved her,” the caption read.

Tatiana left behind her husband, George Moran, and their two children, Edwin and Josephine.

She was just 35 years old.
