Netflix has announced that the streamerr is greenlighting several shows for new seasons.
These range from a docuseries about a celebrity chef, to a thriller about crime-fighting customs investigators, to a historical drama about a prominent 19th-century European family.
‘House of Guinness’
Following the debut of the first season in September 2025, Netflix has made the long-awaited decision to move forward with a second season of this historical drama about Ireland’s beer dynasty, the Guinness family.
“It was such a joy to bring the Guinness story to the screen, so I’m beyond thrilled to be continuing the story of one of the world’s greatest dynasties into Season 2,” series creator Steven Knight tells Tudum. “I can’t wait to dive deeper into these characters and their complex relationships as they expand the Guinness empire.”
Per Netflix, “the second season will delve into the next chapter for 19th-century siblings Arthur (Anthony Boyle), Edward (Louis Partridge), Anne (Emily Fairn), and Benjamin (Fionn O’Shea), along with their spouses, lovers, foes, and friends, like family fixer Sean Rafferty (James Norton).”
“There’s so much more to find out about them,” Knight adds. “We’ll see how they grow up because ‘House of Guinness’ is about a family growing up together. Even in Season 1, they change quite a bit. In Season 2, it will be interesting to see what changes and what stays the same.”
‘Being Gordon Ramsay’
Fans of the hotheaded, foul-mouthed “Hell’s Kitchen” star will be receiving another helping of “Being Gordon Ramsay,” with Netflix ordering a second season of the docuseries that takes viewers inside the life of the celebrity chef and his family.
“Gordon Ramsay is busier than ever,” the synopsis of the new season states. “With restaurants to run, a 25-year anniversary to mark and a global brand to oversee, Gordon’s schedule is packed to the brim. Alongside the business empire, his family remains his greatest priority.”
‘Legends’
British actor Steve Coogan is best known for his comedy creation Alan Partridge, but here he heads the cast of this taut thriller based on the true story of British customs agents who go undercover to bust drug smugglers.
A six-episode second season has been greenlit, with production beginning next year.
“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to tell a new story in the fascinating and unique world that ‘Legends’ offers, and to show just how dangerous, thrilling, and important their work became in the late 1990s,” series creator Neil Forsyth tells Variety.
“As the story moves further into the 1990s, a changing Britain faces a new drugs threat on a scale never seen before,” reads the Season 2 synopsis. “The team of undercover Custom Officers come together once more to take on new challenges, and new enemies, in a thrilling, worldwide operation.”
‘At Home with the Furys’
Following the recent arrival of the second season, Netflix is tripling down on this reality series following heavyweight boxing champ Tyson Fury as he navigates retirement, mental health struggles and his rambunctious family.
Production on Season 3 is already underway, and will cover the family’s move to the Isle of Man, Venezuela’s marriage to Noah Price and, as always, the day-to-day antics of the Fury family.
‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive’
Another announcement from Netflix confirmed that its popular F1 docuseries will be returning, with a ninth season racing our way soon.
‘Love Is Blind: UK’
The British version of Netflix’s hit reality format will be rolling on, with a fourth season set to go into production soon.
‘The Gentlemen’
No surprise given that the first season generated a 100 million views, but the Guy Ritchie-produced crime drama has officially been greenlit for a third season (although whether the Duchess of Sussex will be part of it remains to be seen).
In the first season, viewers met Eddie Horniman, a.k.a. the Duke of Halstead (Theo James of “The White Lotus”), a former military operative who became the reluctant heir to his aristocratic family’s expansive estate — and the lucrative marijuana empire that had been secretly operating out of it.
“Now, after joining forces with Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario) and her luxuriously incarcerated father, Bobby (Ray Winstone), Eddie is discovering that being a power player in the criminal underworld fits him like an immaculately tailored suit,” notes the synopsis for the second season, which arrives September 3.
“A third season felt inevitable,” Ritchie told Tudum, “and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further.”
