Mike White, creative mastermind behind the Emmy Award-winning series “The White Lotus”, has added five new cast members to the season 4 lineup.
Max Greenfield (“The Neighborhood”, “New Girl”), Kumail Nanjiani (“Only Murders In the Building,” “The Big Sick”) , Chloe Bennet (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D,” “Interior Chinatown”), Charlie Hall (“The Sex Lives of College Girls”) and Jarrad Paul (“Free Bert”) will be joining the cast when filming begins later this year, reports Deadline.

White is notoriously tight-lipped about upcoming storylines and characters. However, we do know some details about the new season of “The White Lotus.”
Variety reports France will be the location for season 4, with locations including Paris and the French Riviera. Filming is believed to commence later this year, though dates are yet to be confirmed.
“The White Lotus” has reportedly locked in at least one filming location for season 4. Although the series is known for using Four Season properties for filming, this location is different. Variety confirmed “The White Lotus” will be filming at the Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez.
GettyRumors had already been circulating that Greenfield and Nunjiani would be joining the cast in recurring roles, Deadline states. Greenfield’s character is reportedly named Mitchell.
These new characters will join a stellar lineup for “The White Lotus” season 4. Heading up the cast are Sandra Bernhard, Helena Bonham Carter, and Steve Coogan.
Other stars joining the lineup include Ari Graynor, Chris Messina, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, and Dylan Ennis.
French actors Vincent Cassel, Corentin Fila, and Nadia Tereszkiewicz have also been cast.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the plot of season 4 will reportedly “follow a new group of White Lotus hotel guests and employees over the span of a week,” much like the previous seasons. Variety suggests the Cannes Film Festival could also be a plot point, according to sources.
The Critical Acclaim of “The White Lotus”
“The White Lotus” has proved to be a ratings juggernaut as well as a critic’s favourite.
2025’s Season 3, which was set in Thailand, received 23 Primetime Emmy nominations, Forbes reports. These included Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series nominations for Parker Posey, Aimee Lou Wood, Carrie Coon, and Natasha Rothwell. Walter Goggins, Jason Isaacs and Sam Rockwell were also nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
In total, “The White Lotus” has received 68 Emmy nominations, with 16 wins.
