When Teyana Taylor showed up at the 32nd Actor Awards — which was formerly the Screen Actors Guild Awards — she made a fashionable and adorably memorable appearance.
“Staying true to her previous red-carpet appearances, Taylor simply stunned,” according to Parade. “Wearing Thom Browne, the star posed in a striking, sculptural showpiece that blended Old Hollywood glamour with modern artistry. With swirling and sculpted appliques and a dramatic curve-hugging skirt drenched in silver sequins, the lewk will no doubt be one of the best of the night.”
But that’s not all! Parade notes that “there was something else — a certain adorable accessory — catching everyone’s eye: the mini me helping splay out her dress.” That happened to be the star’s five-year-old daughter, Rue Rose.

When The Hollywood Reporter shared a video of Teyana and Rue at the Actor Awards together — specifically, the little one helping her mom with her dress — fans left adoring comments about the sweet pair.

Teyana Taylor Has Opened Up About Being a Mom
Taylor has two daughters — Rue Rose and Iman “Junie” Tayla (10) — that she shares with her ex, Iman Shumpert. In August 2025, Taylor talked to People about how she has changed since becoming a mom.
“My grind is different, my hustle is different. Like, I’m not playing with y’all, my tolerance is different, what I’m willing to take and not willing to take — you get what I’m saying?” she said. “Motherhood is what made me start to pour more into the other things that I love to do and also to help other people.”
