Reality TV star Bethenny Frankel is turning a painful moment into a cautionary message for her fans. The former “Real Housewives of New York City” star is urging followers to be careful after a beauty tool she tried led to a frightening incident.
The Bravo star said the experience prompted her to speak out so others think twice before trying products promoted online. Frankel later posted a video of the aftermath late Thursday night to warn her followers.
Social Media Beauty Tool Left Frankel Bleeding
In the video, the 55-year-old looks visibly shaken as she holds a blood-soaked wipe to her jaw.
“Oh my God, oh my God!” she says while trying to stop the bleeding.
Frankel explains that the device was designed to help contour the face and relieve jaw tension. She said she decided to try the product after seeing it promoted online. The tool features small glass components designed to glide across the skin.
“These balls, they’re supposed to contour your face — I grind my teeth, and my jaw is pronounced, and it hurts, so it would give some relief, and I saw red in there, and I thought it was my skin,” she said while continuing to wipe blood from her face.
During the clip, Frankel also showed the device to viewers.
The tool appeared to contain a chipped glass tube. “They’re glass, and I was slicing …,” she added before asking what she could do to stop the bleeding.
Frankel Warns Followers About Products Promoted Online

“Do not believe every person who promotes something.”
The reality TV personality admitted the experience left her shaken. “This is so scary, I was going to go down my neck — I could have sliced my jugular, I’m freaking out!”
Frankel later reassured viewers that she was able to treat the cut with a first-aid product designed to stop bleeding quickly.
“This happened mid-video. I am fine. I’m just shook. No one said the lord’s work would be easy,” she captioned the video.
Reality Star Has Faced Several Recent Health Challenges
Frankel has also been candid with fans about her health in recent months.
Earlier this year, she revealed that she had developed a bacterial infection that caused a serious rash on her face. At the time, she said the infection may have been linked to towels used during a stay at her resort in St. Barts.
The entrepreneur has also spoken openly about her kidney health.
In January, Frankel shared that doctors had diagnosed her with stage 2 kidney disease. She said the condition could be connected to a severe allergic reaction she experienced years ago or possibly an autoimmune issue.
Last month, Frankel later updated followers, explaining that the condition had progressed and is now considered stage 3A.
