Bravo TV alum Denise Richards shared a sweet message to her youngest daughter, Eloise, in honor of her 15th birthday—but she also admitted that she worries as her daughter grows older.
In a post to Instagram, the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star shared a series of photos and videos of Eloise, whom she adopted as a baby in 2011. The video included photos of Eloise smiling and dancing, posing with her famous mom and sisters, Sami and Lola, and hugging actor Patrick Muldoon, the family’s longtime friend who died earlier this year. The song “Golden” by KPop Demon Hunters played in the background.
“Wishing my beautiful Eloise Happy 15th Birthday!” Richards captioned the clip. “I can’t believe 15 yrs old already. Having a special needs child in a lot of ways gets more challenging with me worrying more about her future the older she gets. My mom always had said, a special needs child is an angel from God and Eloise is the biggest Angel with the biggest selfless heart. I’m so proud of her strength and kindness.”
Richards also thanked her friends and family who have always been there for “Weezy,” who was born with a rare chromosomal disorder.

Just ahead of Eloise’s big day, Richards told People magazine she couldn’t believe how fast the time flew.
“She’s turning 15 and it’s crazy to think,” the mom of three recently shared. “It’s hard, too, because she’s not going to be able to drive, but she’s at that age. But yeah, no, it goes so fast.”
Richards previously told Bravo’s The Daily Dish that she hoped her daughter would be able to drive someday, despite her disability. “It’s challenging with special needs, when you think of the development of puberty as they are getting older, you know?” Richards shared in 2023. “She’ll point to cars like she wants to drive one day, and I hope she does. And these are things that we’re not sure, and that’s the part where I really worry and think what the next steps are in that.”
Aaron Phypers’ Last Instagram Post was a Birthday Message to Eloise—in 2023
While Richards originally adopted Eloise as a single mom, her marriage to Aaron Phypers brought a new father figure into the child’s life. During the former couple’s time on RHOBH, it was revealed that Phypers considered Eloise to be his daughter and was in the process of legally adopting her.
But the exes split acrimoniously in July 2025 after six years. In court documents obtained by People last summer, Phypers claimed he signed adoption papers for Eloise but alleged that Richards “failed to file them.” He described Eloise as his “daughter by bond of over nine years.”
It is unclear if Phypers is involved in Eloise’s life at all at this time. His last Instagram post was a 2023 birthday tribute to Eloise, which he captioned, “Happy Birthday Eloise !!!my girl!”
