Garcelle Beauvais Discusses Leaving RHOBH
GettyBeauvais appeared on Betches Media’s “Mention it All” podcast in June 2026. During the episode, she was asked about her exit from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Specifically, the host asked about the first “few weeks or months” after her announcement.
She responded, “I was surprised how much attention that got.” After that, she mentioned the conflicting reports about her exit, including some who assumed she had been fired. Beauvais continued, “First of all, I took some time to take a moment because, you know, it was a lot.”
From there, she stated that she’s still happy with her decision to leave ahead of RHOBH season 15. However, she admitted, “But I can also honor the time that I was on. I had some really great times.” In continuing to reflect, the actress said, “My friendship with Sutton was important to me then, and I think two things can be – how do I say it? I love what we had, but that doesn’t mean I need to throw it away.
I loved what we had, and I wish her well.” She added, “I had a lot of fun; it wasn’t all bad. It wasn’t all horrible. Yes, there were things that were painful. There were things that weren’t fun, didn’t feel good, but, you know.”
Beauvais then stated that she never intended for “Housewives” to be the end for her, noting that she has so much she still wants to do with her life and career. According to her, “It was just time. I had never planned on “Housewives” being the end goal.”
